I recently had a very disappointing experience with Restore Tactics. After a pipe burst in my home, the owner, James Duran, came to assess the situation. He immediately set up around eight air blowers and dehumidifiers and assured me he would guide me through the process of submitting a claim to my insurance company. However, the nightmare began when James assigned a supervisor, Robert Medina, to oversee my case. Since February 1, 2025, I have been left without a kitchen, and the entire process has been incredibly frustrating. Despite being paid for services that were never delivered, my attempts to reach James have been met with complete silence. Robert claims that my case is out of his hands, leaving me feeling abandoned and helpless. In hindsight, I wish I had done my research before choosing this company. I?ve since discovered that Restore Tactics has multiple lawsuits against them, including one involving a church. This raises serious concerns about their business practices

Came right away and weâ re on time. Very courteous and explained everything to me. I was very pleased with them and the cost. I would definitely call him again.

I hired Restore Tactics Inc. to replace three toilets in the house. One (1) was leaking and needed more immediate attention and I inquired about upgrading three (3) toilets in the house. The estimate was not the least however they could start the fastest. Only one (1) was truly NEEDED at the time of contact. Three toilets were replaced with a three (3) year warranty written on the work order and invoice. With water restrictions the city installed Smart meters and notified us of a continuous water flow issue. It was traced to a toilet. Being within the warranty period I called and spoke to Vanessa. I was asked to email the invoice copy. I emailed the estimate, business card and original invoice to the mail provided. I followed up two days later as zero response was received. Now a week later and no emails have been received. No phone calls have been returned. With the threat of fines and excessive water use in our drought conditions this is unacceptable. RESTORE TACTICS INC Has NO ETHICS OR INTEGRITY to stand behind their warranty. They are quick to TAKE your money ($1700 job). ONCE PAID YOU ARE MEANINGLESS. Customer service is obviously flushed down the toilets they install. * Provided there were lower ratings I would provide them. They started off great and as soon as there was an issue they have turned to run the other way.

I do not normally write reviews, but I want to warn anyone that might be looking for contractors to look elsewhere. I first called them because of a slab leak in my kitchen. They were really prompt and took care of the issue the next day. They were much more expensive than other quotes but assured me that a decent chunk was a deposit for the remediation equipment and I could bill it to insurance later. Spoilers, I lost count of how many times I asked for a receipt with the breakdown and still have not seen it. It all went downhill after the plumbing work. I kept them on for the demo and build back and it was by far the worst contractor experience I have ever had. They were incredibly unresponsive and would no-show more than they would show. When they did show up they would arrive very late and leave very early and then disappear again for weeks. Each day telling me they would be there the next day and then not responding. This went on nearly every day for a few months. They managed to stretch a couple of weeks worth of work over 3 months, and they still have not finished but insurance paid them the full amount, so they have stopped responding to me. In addition, one of their sub-contractors used some of my tools and forgot and took them with him. I let the site supervisor know (who was great, by the way, but sadly not in charge of scheduling) and he asked me to let their main office know so they could remind people of their own tools and also so they could replace it. I let them know expecting them to replace them but they did not even offer and ignored that. Overall, this was an unnecessarily stressful experience, I have a full-time job that does not involve chasing them every day and lived in a construction zone for months instead of weeks. And, as I mentioned, they never finished the work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Had a secondary problem pop up after their work was done and they came back and fixed it for free. Great communication!

We had a flood in our laundry room on Super Bowl Sunday and they were there within an hour with 8+ industrial fans, humidifiers etc. Kristian has been extremely professional and helpful during this on going project.

I didn't like their tactic of low balling the bid and then when they showed up for the job, they wanted $300 more! It was outrageous and not right! Otherwise, they were courteous and did a good job. Yes, I will recommend them, however, with this caveat!

I AM 81. THIS IS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD FROM ANY PLUMBING SERVICE. QUALITY WORK AND THE TWO MEN WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. PLAN TO USE AGAIN.

They were on-time and they completed the job and corrected the issue. However, they both smelled so strongly of smoke it was difficult to breathe since I have significant allergies when I was talking to them. They ended up having to break out some concrete which we understood but they left chunks all over the sidewalk and didn't clean up the area at all. It also cost $600 to break up a little over 1sq foot of concrete which seems astronomical after discussing with my neighbors who had similar work done. Had they not already been there working on it I would have cancelled them then and there. For the price I would not use them again.

When I was on Home Advisor, before I even finished my request, Restore Tactics was already calling and were able to respond within 2 hours. Fast Service call and the estimate was free.

They did a wonderful job!

We had water damage. We had them come out and demo it and asked for them to replace the sub-floor. This cost $3,000. Then after they were finished there was a 3/4 inch difference between the new and old flooring. Had to ask multiple times for them to come back and they were not specific on time until the last minute. Still have NOT finished the job. We have been without washer and dryer for 2 weeks now. Really frustrating.

They are fast and did a good job.

I hired this company for the repair I told them that was needed and after they came out they informed me they can’t fix my problem because they don’t do that kind of work They also charged to do a rotor job that was not needed for a large amount of money, and they did this before they told me they can’t fix my problem.

Clean, efficient, fast and great personality.

I learned that when something goes wrong, there are many things that can be done to fix them and many prices involved. I could not afford to do the cadillac of repairs, so I opted for the easiest fix which they did. Very neat and very speedy. I suspect I will need to be calling again. But at the time it was the only choice. I've worked with some companies that walk out the door if you don't want to do the multi million $ repair. I really appreciated the attitude and cooperation of the Restore Tactics guys, James and Eli.
