They "repaired" my roof. During the next rain storm the roof leaked so badly the ceiling caved in. I took them to small claims court.

They were dishonest with the original estimate. I actually got charged 20% more than originally quoted. The small print on the contract is what finally got them to stick with this overcharge.

Based on the recommendation of Consumer Reports, we selected the CertainTeed line of asphalt shingles Big Valley was one of the contractors CertainTeed recommeded. Rick Mapes, the person we met with to discuss the reroofing job, is a real pro with a great deal of experience and certifications. He carefully inspected our existing roof to determine what was wrong, then made a detailed drawing of it all. Price was very good. Work was done promptly and professionally without any collateral damage. They cleaned up after themselves too.

IN THE FIRST HALF HOUR OF JOB, ROOFERS "DISCOVERED" THAT ROOF NEEDED SUBROOFING PLYWOOD INSTALLED, NEARLY DOUBLING THE PRICE DESPITE THE OWNER WALKING ON THE ROOF FOR ESTIMATE. ALSO, THEY INSTALLED FLASHING AROUND FIREPLACE FOR WHICH THEY WERE NOT AUTHORIZED. NOW, I HAVE ROOF DAMAGE. DESPITE THE "GUARANTEE" I WOULD NOT LET THIS CONTRACTOR NEAR MY PROPERTY AGAIN.

I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE, AND I THINK I GOT IT DONE FOR A GOOD PRICE. I HAD NEW CLAY TILES INSTALLED ON THE HOUSE. THEY ALSO TOOK OFF THE OLD TILES AND PUT DOWN NEW TARP PAPER. IT TOOK ABOUT A WEEK TO FINISH THE JOB AND EXCEPT FOR THE NOISE, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.
