I used Bennett Pool & Spa to completely repair our pool including replastering, new tiles, and coping. The pool had been in a sad state for the past 8 years. I met with Greg and he explained everything that had to be done in order to bring the pool up to code. I received a very thorough estimate and although the estimate was not the lowest I received, I felt the most comfortable going with Greg.
The total job was done beautifully and if I had any questions, they were answered immediately. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in the future if needed.

Job went very well, from bidding process to completion, our contact Tom did a great job communicating what the process would be at all stages and supervised all the work. Crews were on time every day and work was completed very quickly (ahead of schedule) and the quality is great. In addition to replastering the pool and spa, they also fixed some of the surrounding flagstone that was being lifted by old tree roots making the ground uneven. Because the flagstone was now at a flatter angle the holes for the pool fence poles were out of alignment and the fence would not go into the ground. Tom and crew came back the next day to realign the holes and ensure that the pool fence could be put back in place properly. They left the job site spic and span as though they were never there. EXCEPT, now we have a beautifully restored 'brand new' pool and flagstone deck that we no longer trip on. Thank you Tom and Greg.

Greg Bennett met with us and discussed the job.  He understood what we wanted, offered appropriate suggestions and appeared to know what he was doing and what was required.  We hired him based on his apparent capability to handle the entire job, even though we had been quoted lower prices by other contractors.  I was not able to contact other customers prior to signing the contract, but went with him anyway based partly on the recommendation of my pool man.  The work started when promised and proceeded rapidly.  The entire job took less than two weeks.    There were some small follow-up jobs that had to be done and they have been completed.  My only complaints were: (1) Greg was very busy on other jobs in parallel with mine and spent very little time at my job site, and (2) their failure to do a good final clean-up and restoration of the job site.  We are very happy with the end result in terms of quality of workmanship and appearance.

Consumate professionals -- they did a top notch job.  Greg's crew removed the tile in the sections that were damaged, chipped away the damaged concrete, then fixed the top edge with fast drying concrete.  Once the concrete had cured, they re-set the tile, then finished the grouting later that day.  They finsihed up by re-siliconing the top edge.
Everybody was friendly, and they did a terrific job of cleaning up everything afterward leaving no sign that they were ever there (other than the repair.)
Greg is very knowledgable and experienced, but he's also a really nice guy.  I would definitely recommend him.

Greg is the absolute professional:  responsive, easy to deal with, took his time to explain the product, offered options that saved $$s in long and short run while providing a simpler set up.   His crews were friendly and knowledgeable: pretty much picture perfect!
The job itself went extremely well.  The originally negotiated work of equipment removal/installation was done on time and for the exact amount quoted.  The pressure test revealed a leak which was subsequently quoted on and fixed for quoted price in a very reasonable time frame. Greg was in and out throughout the job, kept me up to date on issues and progress.  He came by as job completed and the leak was fixed to do the final inspection himself.
Overall: A pleasure to deal with on every level.  If you have to spend hard earned $$s somewhere to get your pool taken care of ? these guys are it?

I was referred to Greg by my pool inspector, who is considered one of the top pool inspectors in LA. Greg is very honest and easy to work with. He explains everything in detail. His crew shows up on time and are neat and professional. They made sure that everything was satisfactory.

We inherited a house with a pool that had deteriorated completely.  It is a large pool (20'x50') with a comparatively small hot tub (not a spa because there were no jets).  By the time we were able to invest in the pool, it was in need of basically everything.  Greg Bennett was actually recommended by a plasterer he worked with, who was recommended by the pool service my relatives had used.  He was professional from the start, providing written estimates that included options with different prices (very helpful).  We were notified of his schedule, workers showed up when expected, work was completed on-time as much as I remember.  As issues came up, he was very open and upfront with us.  The electrical for the existing light was a nightmare, so they sealed it off and gave us a new light more centrally located in the pool.  The old plumbing configuration did not provide enough circulation for the size of the pool so they added more lines, including lines into the hot tub to make it a spa.  The gas line to the heater needed to be replaced and they handled it within the day.  His expertise and experience was invaluable, as he was able to offer solutions with every problem that arose, and usually with options so we could weigh the costs and benefits.  Also each additional job came with a new quote or a revision to the original quote.  He also apologized with every problem as he said he strives to include everything upfront.  I feel confident that the problems that arose were either outside the scope of his original work or could not be identified at the beginning, but it was nice that he was aware and cared that our costs went up as the job progressed.

As for the creative choices, he came through with cost effective solutions so that we could afford the pebble-tech finish we wanted, and he helped us pick the color based on previous jobs.  The finish looks gray and black (with many highlights) but once the water went in it looked beautiful blue, just as he had described it.  We would not have had the courage to choose that color ourselves but it came out great.

When it came to the patio repair, he actually came up with an idea to build planters into the patio where the big pots had been, offering a clean solution to the clutter of the pots but also recreating the barrier they had made between the upper and lower levels.  It was a simple but elegant solution and probably my favorite part of the landscaping now.

We only had one issue.  The fence around the equipment wasn't built to the specs we requested, but he offered to redo it and we decided we would live with it for a while (turns out a year later that though it is not perfect, it is probably more functional than what we had in mind).

Bottom line, he was professional from start to finish and delivered a pool and spa that surpassed our expectations.

They are amazing. The owner is Greg Bennett. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them. They were very collaborative and creative. They heard what we had to say and had no problem taking off all the tile when we didn't like the way it looked. We worked together when it wasn?t working and worked together to think of something else.
