After a heavy rain, there was some water pouring from one of the light fixtures in my kitchen. I called Allen for an emergency tarping of the roof over this area in order to stop the leak until I could get it properly fixed later on. Allen was on his way right after I called and showed up at my door a couple hours later ( Because of the rush hour). Fortunately, the rain stopped as he arrived, so he was able to spend time inspecting the roof. After he flooded different areas, we were able to locate the leak, which was actually a part of our A/C unit's flashing that was improperly sealed. He courteously went in my attic to double check where the leak came from and how it trickled along the rafters and beam, and helped me take pictures for the insurance claim. After which, he insisted to temporarily patch up the hole with sealing rubber tape before tarping up that area of the roof, just to make sure that I would be safe for the next rainy days ahead. He was also very nice as to show me how to do it myself if such a problem ever replicates. He must have stayed a little over 3 hours, and did a great job. Overall a very good man and capable contractor. He was so nice I made him a sandwich before sending him on his way. I would definitely hire him again if such an emergency arises.
