ADVANCED STEAMWAY

On the day the services were to be done, one man arrived right on time. The first thing he did was to rehang the drapes. Unfortunately, I wasn't here to see what happened, but apparently, this man didn't know how to hang draperies, and he didn't know that each panel is marked on the underside which side of the window it should be hung upon.. Consequently, on all four windows , the right panel is hung on the left side of the window and and the left panel is hung on the right side. Further, on the four windows, the draperies are hung on transverse rods and all the draperies are hung behind the pull cord ropes so that they are visable. These ar large windows, and I recently had shoulder replacement surgery and my husband recently had spinal surgery, so neither of us are able to rectify these gross mistakes. The drapes were not heavily soiled, the cleaning job is fine. The sofa was not heavily soiled either and looks wonderful after the cleaning. The carpets, however, were not cleaned very well at all--especially on the stairway. The steps had been covered with a rug liner and the carpet underneath the liner was not soiled at all, but the carpet on the sides of the steps that had not been covered by the liner, was pretty dirty. II do not know what happened, but it looks as if the worker forgot to clean the stairway; the carpet on the sides of each step is just as dirty now as it was before the carpet was cleaned. As I said, the draperies except for the way they are hung, are very clean. So is the upholstery. But the carpets are not very clean at all, and the condition of the carpet on the stairway is appalling . Thus, when I consider the awful way the draperies are hung, together with the poorly cleaned stairwell, it is impossible to grade this job very high. Further, I could not reccommend this company to my friends.
