Yes, I recommend this pro
Everything was great. He was very honest and kept close track of his time. He was absolutely worth what he charged. I will definitely be using him again.

Overall, the deck looks very nice and the work was done properly. One area of the deck however was build with insufficient ventilation and drainage underneath. We had mentioned this as a concern during construction and asked that air gaps should be left along the edges towards the house and drainage channels should be left underneath. The contractor did take this into consideration to the extent we would have liked, but we felt he should know what he is doing. When the boards started warping after 5 months David came back to review the problem. Large lumps of had grown underneath. The smell was unbearable. his workers cleaned out the structure underneath and flipped the deck boards so they could warp back. They also re-spaced the boards wider apart to allow for more airflow - still no gaps along the edges however. David Thorne presented us with an invoice of about $870 for fixing the problem he had created! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR!

The owner of the company performed some of the labor and most of the plumbing work himself. He had never installed a wall hung toilet before and threw a very important valve away thinking it was not needed. The lead time for ordering a new valve and the fact that his tile subcontractor had other priorities resulted in weeks and weeks of delays. His own workers are very loud and not very effective. To speed up the painful process the general contractor and his own workers did some of the tile work themselves - which is a visible difference from the rest of the tile install. After 6 months the tile is peeling off at the soapdish and the caulkjoint around the tub is coming out. The walls though brand new drywall have little holes and plaster streaks. The window and door never got their last coat of paint. THIS CONTRACTOR PROMISES MORE THAN HE CAN DO! DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!
