I had to wait four hours for them one time.

I took my Passat in for an oil change, but I not only got an oil change but I also got a broken glove compartment and a bad attitude from Vincent Vandell the so called ?Director? of the service department.
Before turning my keys into the dealer for service, I put my dash camera in the glove compartment and locked it.  Everything worked fine.
After waiting 2 hours for an oil change (with an appointment) I got the keys back to my car.  On my return to my vehicle I placed my things in the trunk and then proceeded to the glove compartment where the lock fell off in my hands when I inserted the key into the lock. 
I told Cal my advisor what happened and he refused even to come out to look at it and told me his people had no reason to get into my glove compartment.
When I went back a few days later to speak to the general manager I was referred to Vincent Vandell, Director of Service.   The minute I walked into his office I knew I had a real attitude that I would have to deal with.  After explaining my problem, he too refused to look at the problem and told me that the dealership is not responsible if anything that is broken after service.  He
compared it with a light bulb going out on the vehicle and asked me if I expected the dealership to replace it.   
I pointed out that the dealership already had a bad reputation with online review sites and he told me that he did not care and that only a small percent of his business comes from websites such as Angieslist and YELP and told me to go right ahead with my review, so here it is.
It looks like the service department is outsourced to B&B Collision Repair and they really don?t care if they ruin the dealership
reputation, so I would recommend the dealership replace this outfit with someone who cares for their business AND their customers, which these people obviously do NOT!  Until then, I will take my business elsewhere.
 

Car was fixed, but fix did not last. Problem was in central computer, but was erratic and elusive on a brand new model (Hybrid). Dealer did the best under the circumstances.

I would give them a AAA rating. They are so good and I have had good responses. They are courteous and quick and explain things. They get me discounts when available and the service is tremendous. The service man suggested we call Volkswagen directly as they might cover the charges on the air conditioner problem as this was the same problem on other cars. We called Volkswagen and they ended up paying half the cost. This is not a brand new car, it has over 100,000 miles. It was all because he recommended we do that. We ended up having to bring the car back in as it wasn't repaired properly and they figured out what was wrong and now it's working beautifully. My son bought a used car and they checked that out for us too.
