A couple of days later I was over at Lowes and wandered by their lumber area and saw the same lumber considerably cheaper. Sunnyvale Lumber was $5.51 per foot or $44.08 for the 2x12x8. Lowes was $2.89 or $23.12 for the 2x12x8! Both were construction grade. Let the buyer beware.

Sunnyvale Lumber is a small place, but don't be fooled. They have the best prices and great service. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. They're the 1st place I go to for home improvement.
