Steele Construction Mike Smit Contractor

Mike did a complete remodel of a 40 year old house that had been a rental of ours for 22 years and needed a lot of work. He turned it into a custom home where we will happily spend our retirement years. He is a master carpenter who built the cherry wood cabinetry throughout. He did 90% of the remodel work himself including plumbing and electrical, subcontracting only the tile and granite work. He was prompt, organized, quiet, efficient and very respectful of our privacy. He was a good communicator, keeping us up to date on his progress, supervising the excellent subcontractors and helping us with research, decisions and budgeting.
