remodeling
 + -1 moreMike did a complete remodel of a 40 year old house that had been a rental of ours for 22 years and needed a lot of work. He turned it into a custom home where we will happily spend our retirement years. He is a master carpenter who built the cherry wood cabinetry throughout. He did 90% of the remodel work himself including plumbing and electrical, subcontracting only the tile and granite work. He was prompt, organized, quiet, efficient and very respectful of our privacy. He was a good communicator, keeping us up to date on his progress, supervising the excellent subcontractors and helping us with research, decisions and budgeting.
Description of Work: Complete remodel of interior of 1400 square foot house. 1. All new hardwood floors throughout. 2. Complete kitchen remodel including custom cherry cabinets and granite counters. 3. removal of one interior wall and modification of another. 4. total remodel of two bathrooms including installation of insulation, new sheetrock, custom cherry cabinets, and granite counter. Tile showers and floors. 5. installation of three skylights including one automatic one. 6. new lighting throughout house. 7. texturing and painting entire interior of house. 8. Recaulking of windows. 9. installation of crown moulding and baseboard throughout house. 10. replacement of all interior doors. 11. new front door. 12. replacement of all electrical outlets. 13. installation of four sets of double sliding closet doors.
