Description of Work: Every time there was a heavy rain, one corner of our garden, adjacent to the house, would flood. There was no place for the water to flow. If we were home, we would do a temporary fix; if we were not home, we would have a lake upon our return. Over the years, we had a number of people look at this problem. Few had any realistic solutions to offer. We were delighted, then, to have a very detailed job description written up by Roots Designs, Inc. It appeared that this firm knew what the problem was and how to address it. The work involved cutting away concrete, installing a sloped pipe, connecting it to the downspout, removing and replanting some shrubs, reinstalling concrete, surveying to ensure proper elevation and slope and installing steel rebar reinforcement as needed.
