PMC POOL & SPA

My experiences with Paul seem to be similar to other people's experiences. If you can get him to come, he does a great job at a reasonable price. And he's a really nice guy to boot. The problem is that he is completely unreliable in terms of trying to get a hold of him. I can understand that he is in high demand but I would expect at least a simple return phone call saying he is too busy or that it would have to be n days (or weeks) out to book an appointment. Especially for return customers. Instead he simply does not return calls. So, while his work has been great I had to give him a C for the multiple times I've called about items and never gotten a return call. I also knocked him down for professionalism because I think following through is part of being a professional.

They are excellent. They service the pool twice a week. It costs $295 a month. They clean the pool. They check the chemicals. They check the equipment. If there is anything that is going to need repairs, they will let us know ahead of time. They repair it. They are really good. They do an excellent job. They keep us informed of what is going on. They do good quality work. They come out in the winter too. We will continue to use this company.

He did an excellent job and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Over the last year I have left numerous messages for him to obtain more material and to engage his services while we are out of town. None of those calls have been returned and based on other reports this seems to be a pattern. So Paul is great when he responds which makes it all the more frustrating when he does not return telephone calls and so you cannot depend on him.

I have the cleanest, best pool in town. They give great service and are reasonably priced.

It's one man, the owner, he's very thorough and really is an excellent person to do the work for me.

My pool pump and motor had stopped working. I called Paul, who came by to have a look. He used some diagnostic tools and determined the motor was not functioning at its full capacity ( 2 horsepower) he said the pump was fine. He said it would cost 350 dollars parts and labor to repair total. He ordered a new motor and returned a few days later and installed it in one hour. He mentioned there was a minor leak in a hose adjacent to the pump and took care of that also and no additional charge.

After ONE visit, Paul diagnosed (and fixed) an algae bloom, cleaned the pool sweep, made some minor repairs, and cleaned the spa BEAUTIFULLY. We are thrilled! We have fired the other company and signed up for regular maintenance with PMC. We look forward to continuing to work with him!

Extremely well. Paul is to be commended for his initiative and thoroughness in going beyond my specific problem to fix and maintain the booster pump as well. He carefully examines anything that is wrong and fixes only what is needed as well. Now we have much better water flow overall. Not only did he fix the booster pump, but he also applied much needed coats of paint to the rusty booster pump cover and the rusty electrical boxes! No pool service or repairman has ever done that for us. It's a small thing, but it will make all the components last longer overall!

Hired PMC after verifying credentials and references. PMC is a state licensed contractor with a good reputation. Initial equipment replacement was done properly and very neatly. Paul Carver, the owner, always arrives as scheduled and professionally uniformed. He does everything he says he will do and more. Clearly Mr. Carver takes pride in being professional and doing top quality work. His ongoing weekly service has been excellent.

Excellent! This has to be one the best contractor jobs we've ever had done. I never even had to come home once. In fact, I never met Paul face to face. He was great about communicating via phone, came to the house when he promised, did everything cleanly and quickly. Estimate was well informed, and was the actual amount I ended up paying. I can't recommend him enough!

Paul was very professional. He showed up a total of three times. Once, to give an estimate, second time to install the pump and a third time to check that the pump was working fine.

They are a very good company. They keep my pool maintained, and they do a good job. He installs equipment only with my authority. I would recommend them to anyone. They charge me $100 a month and that includes chemicals. I don't think that's bad at all.
