The project went well. Nathan was there managing the project everyday and had some good design ideas for the pathway and door stoop that was very helpful. Glad I had him there to give me ideas.
His guys did a great job of laying the 45 degree herringbone pattern(very tricky to look square to the yard) on the driveway and side yard. For the patio and pathway, the pattern was a bit off, and Nathan caught it before I even noticed it. He had his guys pull it up and do it right.
He is a bit more expensive than two other quotes I received, but worth the extra quality and help I got from Pacific Coast Pavers. Nathan uses Geotextile fabric under the base rock instead of thinner weaker weed block like some of the other guys use.
Other notes:
From what I can tell, some of the paver companies, instead of using premix concrete, they mix it on site using bag cement and the left over base rock. The end result, because the the base rock has a lot of contaminants in it, the footing is not as strong.

For a stronger concrete footing, it is a good idea to wire together the overlapped rebar .
Sometimes when the project is complete, there is leftover base rock extending out from the pavers, if this is a problem, be sure to request a head of time that you want it removed or reduced.

Everything went great from demolition of our old driveway to installation of pavers. Nathan, the owner, is pleasant, punctual, easy to work with, communicative, and accommodating. We received several other quotes, and Nathan's quote was highly competitive, if not the best one.
The crews workmanship is first-rate. In addition, they are courteous, punctual and hardworking guys. At the end of the day they clean-up well. And the results? Simply stunning!
We are over-the-moon with the results. We happily recommend Pacific Coast Pavers. If I were to give them a grade, I'd give them an A+!
