My hardwood floors were in very bad shape, but I had put off refinishing because I had to move all the furniture and be out of the house. I finally decided to do it, but only wanted to do this once, so I got many estimates and talked to many people.
A friend I trust had used New Century ,and even knew the owner, so I eventually chose them.
What a great decision!
From beginning to end, Andy did a fantastic job!
My house is over 100 years old and has 2 different woods that abut each other. All the other companies told me this, but Andy actually put together a board display with my two woods, stained and finished, to show me how differently they would take the stain. It was very professional and must have taken him a long time to do.
For all appointments and work, Andy and crew came at precisely when he said they would.
When the movers moved the refrigerator( I used Zorn movers) I discovered there was no hardwood under it, just plywood. When I came back after the first sanding day, Andy had added perfectly-matched hardwood there, at no extra charge!
Everything went smoothly, everything happening as he told me.
My floors are BEAUTIFUL, and I couldn't be happier.
This is a family business, and Andy's price is extremely reasonable.
I HIGHLY recommend this company and feel anyone would have a great experience with them.
