He quickly ascertained that the compressor was needed to be replaced but also that the system was not worth repairing and gave us the option of patching it or sealing it back up. He was honest enough that he did not charge us for repairs that would have been costly but not cost effective and would have needed to be redone later. He looked at the AC system we had and gave us some suggestions as to what might be needed if we were to replace the aging system. We ended up not using Jim's to install the new system because of scheduling issues but we were impressed with his straight forward talk and helping us come to the best decision.

Jim is FANTASTIC. My HVAC is < 1 yr. old. I moved the thermostat and then the unit would no longer operate. Jim answered the phone on first call. Came out 2 hours later. He quickly determined it was a fuse inside the unit and replaced it. He also did a visual inspection of the entire system and found oil leaking in compressors. Installer did not tighten some "caps". Jim fixed everything and was in and out in an hour. He only charged me $75, which I thought was way too low. I gave him $100, which he didn't want to take. Super knowledgable, super nice, very honest guy. He's my HVAC guy from now on.

He did an excellent job that was reasonably priced. Jim is very experienced and courteous and clean. We had to wait approx. 2 weeks for a service call as he was that much backed up.
