About us

Thank you for your interest in DHohmann Handyman. My name is David Hohmann and I look forward to taking care of your home improvement needs. I am a Sunnyvale native who studied architecture at West Vallley JC, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Cornell University. I have many years experience as an unlicensed contractor in the construction industry and there is not a project that I can not take care of for you. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs, within the limits placed on handymen, are all projects I can help you complete. I promise prompt, personal and professional service and customer satisfaction is always my main goal. Besides being a handyman, I have had a woodworking business since 2013, Westwood Woodworking, where I specialize in furniture, custom doors and window, and exotic wood boxes and chessboards. I look forward to helping you with your project!

David is an outstanding contractor who does outstanding work. He is knowledgeable in all the trades. He is always polite and professional with great communication skills. He truly listens to the home owner. The quality of the work is great. Dave is always on time, shows up when he says he will. I originally hired David to repair several projects that went bad with another contractor and he did amazing work. I had gotten other quotes in the area, and most were double his price and I know the work would be nowhere near the quality Dave does. He was able to find the right solution, always creative and results are very impressive. I strongly recommend as David is a True Professional.
