Andrew from Comet Plumbing did a great job at fixing a problem with one of the bathrooms in our rental property. Our tenants complained of a clogged toilet that they couldn't unblock using the usual means of plunging. Andrew responded to us quickly, went over to our property the same day, diagnosed the problem and correctly recommended that the problem was with the toilet bowl itself. We subsequently scheduled a follow-up appointment for him where he picked up our newly ordered toilet from the local Home Depot, went back to the residence and replaced the old one, while also taking care of disposing the old toilet. Andrew was very responsive and professional throughout and did a great job of coordinating the work with us and the tenants. He was flexible enough to not charge the tenants at the time of work and separately get the payment from us at a later date in person. Overall, I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

We previously hired Comet for an emergency major leak in one of our bathrooms (significant enough that we had to turn the water off in our entire house). The owner came by late at night and didn't quit until leak's sealed and water back up and running. He was professional and courteous and gave us several options instead of pushing one way or another. So when we've finally decided to re-pipe our house we called on Comet. Again, we were given several options and were given updates every step of the job.
In the 3 days it took to finish the job, he was very methodical and organized that we were never without water running at the end of the day. We appreciate his respect for our time (he would show up right when he said he would and called if he's held up somewhere else). The job was inherently messy but another thing that we appreciate is his respect for our space/place. He was careful not to make too much of a mess and left everything in order. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and family.

We just bought our house a old house but was supposed to have new plumbing including sewer. 2 weeks in all the drains backed up. Called the home warranty first guy snaked it and found roots, apparently the home warranty doesn't cover roots he packed up and left. Searched Angie's List and called three plumbers for a request for quote. Comet Plumbing was the first to reply. Andrew came out the next day.He was able to get the water flowing but the video inspection showed the pipe had some root intrusions and cracks/holes. We would probably be in the same situation in a week or two. Andrew quoted to replace the pipe $5K which was to much since I had just spent every dime to get into the house. I also verified the quote with another plumbing company $7K. Andrew worked with me and we agreed I would do all the digging myself and we settled on $2.5k for him to put the new pipe in and do the permitting. It was about a 45ft run and in a location that didn't allow heavy equipment. I dug up the exsisting pipe myself over a few days, Andrew even stopped by a few time to check on the progress and offer suggestions. While I was doing that he scheduled all the permitting stuff. When the old pipe was dug up Andrew came right out and put the new pipe in. He worked late (there were challenges getting everything to code) so we would have sewer by the end of the day. Inspector came the next day, Andrew met him at the house, got it signed off, I buried the pipe and Andrew even helped where the clean-out was so he could make sure it was set right. Got final inspection the next day. Under the circumstances not too bad, Andrew really went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out.

My front yard was covered in waste from the bathroom and kitchen. It was DISGUSTING. I was calling around for estimates and Comet Plumbing had the best prices. Also, they were able/willing to start the work on a weekend without extra charges so I didn't have to take off time from work. Everything was done according to plan, and the plumber even installed a clean out that the city will snake for free from here on out. I got a 5 year warranty added on at no extra charge either. Overall, it was really a painless process and with the city inspection certificate, it even adds to the value of my house.
