Bank of America - Sunnyvale

I don’t like them since they didn’t give me a medallion signature. I needed the medallion stamps on my stock certificate. They said that their new policy states that it can’t be given under $100000. I just couldn’t believe it. Apparently now, they act like they don’t know you. They have some formulas and they say that you don’t fall within the range of the formula. It was totally unexpected. My mortgage is with them and I have been paying my mortgage for 20 years. I have my checking account and savings account as well. They don’t know anything. I noticed when I walked in that there is nobody over there who is over 25 years of age. All the older people have left and all the new people don’t know anything. So, they call somebody else and ask them what to do. I want to change, but I am going to sell this house and move next year. So, I will wait and make the change then. It’s a big hassle. They were good in the past, but they have changed the way they operate lately. The only place you can get the medallion signatures are from your broker or from a bank. They provide that for free since that is a service. I went twice to the bank. I would have to go to the court and file all the papers through the court. A notary public stamp costs $10 and it is $140 if you get it from the court. That’s just one thing. There will be a three-month delay and everything they do in the court is 10 times more expensive. The people at the Bank of America aren’t professional. They have to call and ask somebody. So, it’s just like you are talking to a computer. So, I would definitely change.
