Jose and his team showed up at exactly 8am, and a team of four worked non-stop for 3.5 hours. They did a super job and cleaned up all of the trimmings and brush, leaving the yard impeccable. I would highly recommend Professional Tree Service.

Jose came for an estimate and told me he could do the work on 5-4-15 between 2-3pm.  He arrived at exactly 2pm with his crew of 3 men and they worked for almost 4 hrs. non stop, cutting back branches that were high up and difficult to reach, and they did it like pros.  They trimmed back the shrubs in a neat clean line all the way up to the top and then hauled away what looked like mountains of yard debris.  Everything was clean when they left and one of him men even took the time to replace my decorative solar lights, that they had to move during the work.  Jose and his employees are very professional, efficient and the price was reasonable.  I can't recommend them highly enough and will use them again in the future.

This is a property with many tree's located just South of a National Forest region. Was having house painted so had them cut away shrubs close to house. Due to closeness of shrubs copper tubing connecting water cooler accidentally cut.

No problem. They purchased new tubing at once and replaced. I have a 40 ft palm tree that they climbed with no problem.

The first day a huge wood chipper arrived with a truck and with a large crew. All wood and sawdust removed and in three days all was done. These are courteous professionals. Jose Martinez was on site. Price was right. I have dealt with tree cutters for many years and have never met an equal. At the age of 86 hope to live long enough to call them back because trees grow and life goes on..................

We have two enormous 70 year old Day Palms on our property line. They are approximately 40-50 feet tall. We called Jose Martinez at Professional Tree Service 5 years ago and they did a terrific job trimming and skinning the trees. This year we called them again. No need to call anyone else. Jose promptly came out and gave us an estimate. Our neighbor is very particular about anything that impacts her property and remarkably Jose was able to talk to her very professionally and explain all of the steps he would take to protect her property. They arrived promptly on Saturday morning and spent quite a bit of time setting up wooden posts and sheets of plywood to protect her plantings. They covered our window with plywood, and protected the camellias planted near the base of the trees. They were working from 8:00 to 4:30. Mr. Martinez was on site and supervising throughout most of the day until the main clean-up was mostly done. He then aksed it if was okay with us for him to leave for another job. His crew were very professional and thorough. They did an excellent job trimming and shaping the palms, removing the flower stalks, and cleaning up the crown. They took their time to carefully clean up the debris. You almost wouldn't know that they were here, except that the palms look clean and ready for another 5 or 6 years of growth before we will have to trim them again. Mr. Martinez and his crew are the absolute best. Courteous, professional, careful, expert at trimming trees. We will hire them again and will recommend them to everyone.

Awesome service for a reasonable amount of money, I go though firewood pretty fast during the winter season so I like to stay stocked up. If your looking to buy quality firewood I'd recommend these guys.

I called Saturday afternoon and scheduled firewood to be delivered. I was thrilled that delivery could be arranged with very little notice and scheduled it for the next day (Sunday). Jose told me they would be here at 10:00 a.m. The truck actually got here after 10:30, but Jose called to say he was on his way which was fine.
The wood was delivered and stacked neatly with no problems. I appreciate the promptness and responsiveness and I'd definitely use them again.

The core of the project was a long neglected property where no landscaping or tree maintenance had been performed for many years. The growth had buried us and another neighbor obstructing our view homes. The principle property also has beautiful views which were not apparent until the trees were gone. It was a major project and all went well. We will have them back in the summer to continue with shaping of oak trees.

He was out of my area, but he came an extra 15 miles to come to my house. I would say its great. They did what they said and cleaned up afterwords.

This was my first time purchasing wood like this, normally I just go to the supermarket and buy those $7 bundles. However, I decided to give it a try. I left a message and Jose promptly called me back. He came the same day and delivered 1/2 a cord of beautiful mixed wood. They stacked them neatly and even left about 20 extra pieces just because they were left in the truck. We had our first fire with the wood last night and it burned very nicely. The pieces are at least twice as big as the flimsy ones I was getting at the supermarket. I definitely think that this will save us money in firewood over the next 6 months.

As far as the price; we paid $150 for 1/2 a cord and $15 for the stacking.

I called Jose Martinez and he came out the next day and gave me a written estimate of $4200.00 for the work to be done. He was polite and knowledgable. When he looked at the tree stump in the backyard (without being told what type of tree had been there), he correctly identified the stump belonging to a cottonwood tree.

Professional Tree Service was not the least expensive. His company was $1000 more than the least expensive estimate, and $2000 - $3000 less than the two most expensive estimates. I was able to get his company's current state business license and insurance bond faxed to me.

He and his crew arrived on time both days. His crew was professional and polite. At the end of the two day job, they left my back yard/parkway clean - as if nothing had been worked on. Jose Martinez was on site both days.

I would definitely hire them again and/or recommend them.

Half of my large ornamental pear tree fell off during a storm today and landed on my car. I called owner Jose Martinez who answered the phone on a Sunday during a major LA rainstorm. He showed up in one hour with a helper with his truck and branch grinder. They cleared off my car, removed all the branches from my yard and my neighbor's yard, cut the rest of the tree down to a safe size, cleaned off my roof and hosed off my car, all during a howling windy rain storm. Great job.

I called them in the morning and they came by that afternoon. They were prompt and did exactly what they said they would.

The experience was excellent. I was surprised that they were willing to not only deliver the wood in the rain but also stack the wood.

It went very well. However, it took a while because of the rains. The price was good and he did a good job. He even trimmed part of an avocado tree that was hanging over into my yard. My only complaint is that he said he would come at noon and he did not come until three. I had to call a few times to check in with him and he kept saying he was going to be here soon.

I was very impressed with Jose Martinez who seemed knowledgeable and was certainly very polite and helpful both on the phone and in person. I knew I couldn't go to work until this was taken care of, and in some ways it almost seemed like it didn't happen. Angie's List was offline for site maintenance when I had to make the call, so I found this company in the online Yellow Pages. Their ad said they specialized in dangerous tree removal.
