One dark rainy night, the whole house electricity went off. I couldn't find a solution. This was a week day night, and all the neighbors had their lights on. So, I went to the yellow pages, and found that KJ Electrical was one of two 24 hour electricians listed. I called and Kyle answered. He cam right over and diagnosed the problem as a faulty main breaker. In fixing this problem, he noted the entire wiring layout in the electrical panel was incorrectly done. He also noted old cloth covered wiring that was a hazard. We had several other issues, and eventually, Kyle redid the wiring, changed lights added lights, put in a new electrical panel and other upgrades. Before, our lights would flicker when the washing machine went on, or the trash compactor. We had 4 different electricians out and none of them were able to find the problem. The old panel was a disorganized mess and tangles of wires. Kyle's box now is clean and neatly laid out. In addition to excellent service for us, our neighbor had a problem and Kyle got involved in a big rehab project for them. He knows the codes and has a grasp of the various lighting products available. He also did work to redo our dryer vent to clean it and redid the vent to prevent fires. Everything done was done correctly and neatly. I have never had as great an experience with a repair person. That is why I joined Angie's list to alert everyone to an electrician that does great work at fair prices. Kyle is worthy of your consideration even if you are not in the Crescenta Valley area. Most contractors these days will go pretty much anywhere.
