 + -1 moreAlex was prompt, professional, and courteous. Gave a very reasonable price to install a doggy door through the wall in a place that did not have one previously. The installation was perfectly done, and we are very satisfied with the job. Will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: Alex did ceramic tiles in my two bathrooms in second floor and my kitchen.He replace all facets and drains in bathroom sinks and showers. Replace gas valve for dryer and install washer and dryer.Replace all door locks,few lights and smoke detectors.In first floor replace bamboo laminate floor,refinish fireplace,install all appliance in kitchen,wire and install new light in living room. I had leak in my garage,he open the wall,replace ABS pipe and close whit drywall. He also build deck in my back yard and more......

Description of Work: I bought a condo last year. Alex did some work before i move in. The project was for a month. Details: Electrical-recessed lights,power outlets,bath.fans. Plumbing-replaced drain in two bathrooms. Paint-paint all unit. Flooring-install laminate in all unit. Replace two windows.

Here are my observations (structured): Regarding work to be completed: Working with Alex was easy since he would state up-front all observations - what is an easy fix, what is not, what doubts he might have and what research has to be conducted. This helped me maintain the projects within my time and money budgets by selecting what work to address first. Regarding timeliness: Once the work was defined Alex would usually complete it as promised. I've had only 1 delay due to an emergency, so overall all was done on time. Regarding costs: Costs are at average. I've had cheaper quotes, however Alex has proven to be trustworthy and worth the extra buck. Regarding Responsiveness: Alex has always answered or returned my calls; he's a bit slower on the e-mail responses though (2 days turnaround). That's why the B-rating.
Description of Work: We bought a house about a year ago and Alex was helping us with the fix-up projects that required more skill than an average homeowner would have. The projects spread for a total of 6 months (on and off). Here are the details: - drywall - demolition, installation and painting - framing - demolition and re-framing - had to take down and re-build 2 interior walls - plumbing - replaced plumbing in 2 baths with copper pipes; installed 2 thermostatic showers - electrical - installed recessed lights, power outlets, wired the kitchen lighting to allow ceiling fan installation - painting - painted 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and 1 kitchen - pool - fixed pool plaster, re-painted pool and jacuzzi, installed salt water chlorine generator (plumbing and electric connections, 240 V)
