Excellent service and prompt

Replaced garbage disposal and connecting pipes that were tweaked, and one was broken at the threads. Armen did nice, clean work and had all the parts on hand in his truck. He left the under area of sink cleaner than he found it, and no leaks have been detected. Punctual and professional. Nice man.

I'm pretty sure he ripped me off. He charged me more than was necessary I found out later. He did fine but he charged me $1100 for a 2 hour job which should have been like a $300 job. He did a fine job. He was polite and fine. He told me the price and I accepted it. So it's my fault. I know now I got ripped off.

Armen found the problem, and fixed it for $150 which included removing the toilet tank. Also had to come back on his own time to do the job because the main water line access was locked in the crawl space because of my mistake, Very good.

Our water keeps running and overflowing in the pond. They explained the 2 possibilities and they did the first one that was quite inexpensive. It didn't work so they did have to come back and did the second option and even that was inexpensive. I've used them a number of times. They never have to come back a second time for the same problem. These are people that were trained in the old school. Michael and Arman are special people and they do a terrific job. I trust them. They are professional and competent.

We have a dryer in our garage and I was using a primitive method for collecting lint because it didn't have an outside vent. I bought a new dryer and the guy said he couldn't install it without a legal venting. So Unique Rooter came in and put in a very well done, quickly installed, very effective duct for my dryer. They figured out the shortest distance and they did a great job. They insulated it so it doesn't generate heat when the stuff is going thru the vent. They were here for a long time. It runs many feet and it goes up and across and down and all that. It wasn't just a little dumb vent that goes thru the wall to the outside. I didn't get another bid because I knew I would have them do it and they would get it right the first time. I thought the price was fair because of the work they did and there were 2 men here for a few hours. They really go out of their way.

The install was smooth and professional, the three plumbers arrived on time and took care of the job quickly and neatly. Everything went as expected with courtesy and efficiency. I would recommend this team to friends and family, I'm very pleased with the work.

Called Unique plumbing to come and figure out why my garbage disposal stopped working. He came and found the problem in less than an hour. Found out if was the electrical causing the problem. Very professional, just was a little disappointed in the price for just a diagnostic test and no fixing. regardless, would do business with them again :)

My only real complaint is about scheduling. I submitted times that would be best for us, and specifically said when we couldn't, but when they called to schedule the actual appointment they kept suggesting times that we couldn't do it, and then on the day of the appointment they showed up early, during the time we said we wouldn't be there, and proceeded to call us to complain that we weren't there. Also, even though the service says it includes haul away, they asked if it was ok to throw it away in our trash can. We of course said yes, but afterward wondered if the reason they advertise haul away is because we're not supposed to dispose of them in our regular city trash cans?

I discovered water leaking out under my dishwasher when it was not running. My garbage disposal was also leaking. I scheduled an appt with another plumber who never showed up. I specifically took the day off so I could deal with this problem, so I needed someone to come that day. I went to Angie's list and found Unique. I called them around 11am. They needed to check with their technicians to see if they could squeeze me in. They called me back in an hour and said they could have someone there around 5pm. I told them that was the time I needed to leave my house to pick up my kids from school, and he said the technician would wait for me to get home. To my surprise they called a couple of hours later and said they could come at 3pm. Even better! He arrives, pulls out my dishwasher and points out that all of the lines are fine...it's a problem with my dishwasher itself, which they can't fix. OK, so on to the garage disposal. I had already bought one and just needed it installed. Once he got under the kitchen sink he discovered that my metal drain was trash from rust and had a major whole in it. He suggested I switch to PVC, or I would have the same problem again. Having replaced this drain 2 other times in the last 5 years, I knew he was right. So, I didn't get my original water leak fixed, but they did install my disposal (which was leaking), repaired another leak I didn't know existed, and were able to accommodate my need for a same day appt. Win, win, win!

Armen came by same day to diagnose the problem and fix it. Checked the plumbing/piping, discussed potential contributing factors and issues. Very thorough and helpful. A good person. Also discussed a tangential issue with the plumbing attached to our new washer. Will be contacting Armen for any future plumbing issues.
