I do not normally write reviews, but I was compelled to write one due to the extraordinary service that I received from The Blind Spot. From the start, the communication was clear and concise with no "hidden" agenda...Michael was very clear with explaining the costs and took his time with me over the phone to answer all my questions. I was pleasantly surprised to get scheduled for an appointment so quickly. Oscar the Installer was polite, professional, and very attentive to detail. He clearly communicated to me what the job would entail and educated me regarding the handling of blinds for "long term care." Oscar also took time to answer any concerns I had and kept me informed with the process. He even made these gorgeous, braided strings as an extra touch! I love the fact that this company actually talks human to human with their clients, no online stuff...if only more businesses could be so personal and efficient like The Blind Spot. The Blind Spot is AWESOME!!!!

I can't say enough good things about The Blind Spot - I am not exaggerating when I say I would give them 10 stars if I could. First, Michael was extremely pleasant and responsive and made working with the company a breeze. Oscar, who was on site to repair nine broken shutter slats on our mid-century shutters as well as a huge relaxed Roman Shade in the bedroom and another more typically sized Roman Shade in another room, was professional, respectful, and great at his job. Third, I feel their price point is extremely fair. And fourth - just what a rare find The Blind Spot is!!! I had been searching for a way to repair our huge Roman Shade for months! Companies like this are hard to find these days - ones who are focused on top notch work delivered in a timely fashion for a fair price and with a very personable touch. Like I wrote above: 10 stars.

Michael from The Blind Spot was very responsive and kind. He worked around our tenant's tricky schedule to arrange the repair. The installers Oscar and Oscar were fantastic and professional. They repaired our two giant shades quickly and snapped some of the other ones into place. I'll definitely hire them again if any other shades have issues.

If only all repair jobs could be this well done in all respects. Oscar was friendly, fast working and efficient and cared about the task. Very professional service.

Charge too much.

I had indoor shutters in two rooms removed for refinishing and the removal and reinstall was superbly done. I later purchased new indoor shutters for another room and the craftsmanship of the installation wasl excellent.

A little pricey to repair the string of one blind but not complaining because the experience was so professional...called to confirm, showed up on time, and blind now works perfectly'!

The key to a good result with any home repair, is finding a specialist - not a general handyman. When Oscar, with The Blind Spot, came over to fix broken cords for my blinds, he had all the new cords, and cleats, in various finishes in his bag. One of my blinds had been jerry rigged by an amateur and he corrected that problem in an instant. He fixed two blinds in my office in record time and they work like new! Richard, back at the office, called immediately after the job to make sure I was happy with everything - I was! These guys are now my one and only blind and drape company from now on!

Oscar did a great job fixing the cords on my Roman shades. I'm planning to hire them for more work on my drapes. I definitely recommend them.
