Poor service by Alaska caused nearly $20,000 in water related damage to my house - including mold. The leak was beneath the new tub they were hired to hook up (under the tiling), so it wasn’t easily identified. Eventually, when I noticed it, I reached out to Chris to see what could be done. He was completely unresponsive. I very much regret using Alsaka for this important job. Please consider reading reviews of Alsaka on other sites, if you can find them (e.g. Yelp) as there are similar incidents as mine.

I called Cris and he made time in his schedule to come over the next day. He found the problem right away, got the necessary replacement part, and repaired the fixture. There was a slight setback when the first replacement part was defective, but Cris and his dad made a return trip with a second part and made sure it was functioning correctly before finishing up. I am very happy to have found a plumber who is so accommodating, professional and affordable.

I called Cris on May 4th and they came out the same day to look at the job and provided an estimate later in the day. Cris and his father Raul arrived early on May 6th and carried out the water line modifications and gate valve installations in a professional manner. Both of them inspected the rest of my house's plumbing fixtures for possible leaks. On May 11th both of them came back for some additional plumbing work which included the installation of a combination washer and dryer, a toilet repair, replacing supply lines and an angle stop, and capping off the irrigation system. This father and son team have over 50 years of plumbing experience. They provided a timely, innovative repair on a house that is now 97 years old. Obviously I have already hired them twice and will consider them first for all my future plumbing jobs.
