Jim came to look at the site promptly and turned around a quote quickly. It was priced fairly and the work was done on time. He was always responsive to questions and feedback on the work.

Jim and Steve were a pleasure to work with. They were personable, punctual, and neat. They displayed attention to detail which I greatly appreciated, especially in the more visible areas. They took their time and did not rush through the job. Any time an unexpected issue or option arose, Jim would consult with me before preceding to determine my preference. This job was especially challenging to due the slope of my lot, the height of work area and in some instances, the close proximity of the work area to electrical wires and the street. I appreciated the fact that a general contractor was willing to take on a relatively small job and not rush through it.

Jim Collins and his Precision Homeworks crew worked in our home for a few months (on the large job above) and were just fantastic. The whole crew was exceptionally professional, punctual, charming, kept a large work area very clean and were even terrific with our two dogs! Jim has great integrity and communication skills. He discusses in detail the expected costs of a project, with various options things to do now, things that can wait. When things change (as they can in any renovation) he goes over the whys and options. We count ourselves lucky that we have a General Contractor we trust completely. (We are the envy of our friends in this regard, who all have horror stories). We have recommended Precision Homeworks several times to others and no one has been disappointed. Also note that another review of this company appears under "roofing", but that category is a mistake. I believe that job was carpentry.

I found him to be very reasonable, honest and diligent. His crew has been with him for a very long time and they are honest, skilled, professional and they are there when they say they are going to be there. I think they go the extra mile.
