Called for Quote on property in Cherry Valley (Riverside County) and was informed that "They don't do that area, good bye". So either they do not serve Riverside / San Bernardino County like they state on their website and here, or there employees are incompetent and do not know their service area. Either way, do you want to want to trust them with a several hundred thousand dollar purchase? I'll pass and try the next home inspection company on the list.

Chris Nash is very knowledgeable and a great guy. He took his time and answered all the questions I had. The report he sent after the inspection was very detailed and professional.

My inspector, Chris came to my home and did a full home inspection for me.  He crawled around under my house, he inspected the attic space and he inspected every nook and crannie.  He did and excellent job. I requested the inspection because I am considering having remodeling/repair work done on my home and wanted to have an idea of what to expect before remodeling salesmen arrived with pressure sales tactics.  This inspection gives me peace of mind when I talk to remodeling salesmen, because I already know what items need attention and therefore cannot be coerced into making purchases that I do not need or want. I would use his services again. Thanks Chris for being so pleasant to work with and for answering all my questions no matter how silly they were.

I found the company's prices to be quite competitive. The owner, Chris, showed up early, which I thought spoke well of him. He encouraged me to bring up any concerns that I might have about the house, and when I did, I found that his eagle eyes had already spotted the problem. His report was quite thorough and easy to understand, and delivered promptly. Overall, I was quite happy with his inspection.

They are excellent, punctual and very thorough. Their pricing is great. They provided the service that I needed in a timely manner. They are very professional. A lot of information was given which will ultimately lead to great sale of my property.

My wife and I plan to purchase our first home, and Mr. Chris Nash was our home inspector. Before we arrived at the property for the inspection appointment, he was already there scoping out the neighborhood. Low-key, mild-mannered, and humble was our impression of him. Once inside, he took about two and half hours to expect every corner of the property, methodically and focused. The home was in much poorer condition than we had initially anticipated, and his professional evaluation afterwards was extremely helpful and insightful. He later sent us a substantial and thorough report which highlighted all the faults with the property.

This individual knows his craft well, and we highly recommend his business. He saved us, literally, about $20,000 dollars with his report because the bank was forced to acknowledge that the foreclosed home had major defects.

Sometimes, you cannot thank someone enough for their positive contribution in your life. The only way you can do this nowadays is to write a review without bias and subjectivity. Mr. Chris Nash is a top-notch professional and merits credit and recommendation.

My real state agent gave me a couple of recommendations. I contacted them all via email  ITB responded promptly. Their pricing was competitive and we set up an time within the same week. Mr. Nash came in even earlier to the appointment. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us understand the ins and outs of our house and was extremely through and detailed. He delivered the report as promised the next morning.  I also had a couple of questions and he called me back and spent a lot of time with me on the phone to make sure I understood the report. I very strongly recommend Mr. Nash. He was one of the positive highlights of my home buying experience.

We had to change the date of our inspection.  Jami had no problem making things work.  She was quick to respond, thorough and professional.
Chris did our inspection.  We couldn't have been more pleased.  He answered all our questions with obvious knowledge and expertise.
The house had previously had an inspection performed by another company, so we already had an inspection in hand.  The comparison between that inspection and ITB was night and day.  The other inspection was a weak checklist that missed some fairly obvious and important things.  It was extremely superficial.
ITB's inspection, by comparison, was a thorough examination that prioritized a comprehensive list of needed repairs. 
Chris went everywhere in the house that the previous inspector refused to go (attic, crawlspace).  His report definitely made us feel ten times better about moving forward with the purchase (and what we needed to demand the seller fix!).

I signed up on Angie's List and started calling up home inspectors right away.  I spoke to Jamie at Inspect the Best who was very personable and said that Chris who would would be performing the inspection, would get back to me very soon.  Within the hour I got a call from Chris Nash and after the conversation ended I knew he was our guy.  Chris is grossly overqualified for his profession.  He used to build homes and said he'd been in construction since he was a kid.  I asked him every question I could think of in terms of what to expect from an inspection, and what trouble signs to look out for in a home built in 1960.  He spent over an hour on the phone with me.  It didn't hurt either that we're both from NY and are huge JETS fans.  On the day of the inspection, Chris was early and got to work right away.  He got up on the roof, got in our attic, checked for possible moisture spots with a reader, checked all our outlets, our panel, our water heater, our foundation, the exterior of the home,  everything he could get to on hands and knees and what was visible.  He was extremely thorough and took his time.  His knowledge was vast and my wife and I picked his brain about what our priorities should be when we start to renovate.  He pointed out the biggest areas of concern like the plumbing and electrical but overall we got a pretty clean bill of health and we were able to move on with the purchasing process.  It took longer than expected to close on the home and we've been so busy finding a contractor and shopping/buying materials and appliances that I was totally delinquent in writing this review.  So sorry for the lateness of it but Chris at Inspect the Best, was great.  His report was 56 pages long and supremely thorough.  He also got it to me literally the next day.  He took very clear pictures of everything as well and I think it'll make it easier on the contractor as well.  Also at the time of the inspection, I asked him if there was a contractor he could recommend, and he said he wouldn't because he didn't want any conflict of interest of any kind.  I thought that was very stand-up about Chris and I would recommend him to anybody for a home inspection.  At the price too, you can't beat it.  I can't imagine anyone being more thorough.  Thank you Chris for doing a great job!

I was pleased to see Chris arrive 10 minutes early and ready to start working on time.
I followed him through each room and found him to be methodical and efficient, not to mention a very personable guy.
The company is ASHI certified, and my research indicated this was worth looking for in an inspector.
During the whole inspection, he was ready to take time to answer my questions and explain in layman's terms things I was unclear on. He took pictures throughout and these were included in my report.
The report arrived the following morning, very thorough and helpful, a nice 68 pages.
I would recommend him, he seems honest and cares about his work.

They are punctual. The report is pretty detailed and it was provided within one business day after doing the inspection.

He was very punctual and had carried out the roof and exteriors inspection by the time we came. He was very thorough in his inspection and communication to us about his findings.
We bought the house he inspected and are very happy with his detailed report. We bought a foreclosed property and his report came in very handy to do the odd jobs needed around the house. In fact we still refer to it !

Chris was very professional and took extra time to explain everything. He didn't rush through it and was very patient with my picky questions. I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job. He was extremely knowledgeable. This was a "fixed-up" house and Chris spotted so many things that the seller overlooked.

Overall AMAZING experience. Extremely ETICAL, knowledgeable inspector whom, it is obvious to me, Chris Nash (sp?) has years of expereince as a previous home contractor building houses outside and inside, (unlike most inspctors who took a course alone I would imagine or just got a license out of interest). He explained EVERYTHING to me as he inspected..went above and beyond the call of duty for me, prompt, and delivered a 73 page report with photos and diagrams and packed text, and methods to ressolve each defect within 12 hours.. I will always recommend him to my friends and loved ones, and anyone who needs peace of mind to understand what they are getting into when purchasing their home whether befor or during excrow! We had a pre-sale home inspection done. Chris was awesome. His report was very thorough and so extremely well organized so that we could see what needed to be done immediately and what could be done later. Our real estate agent was so impressed with the report that he immediately hired him for another inspection on a different property. I am really picky and was very impressed with Chris' inspection report - it was delivered via e-mail the very next morning. Chris' report was very concise and easy to read - it was well organized and had lots of pictures of the things that needed to be fixed/addressed. I highly recommend Inspect The Best.
