EZ Construction in North Hollywood, CA (Even Zohar) did a fabulous job for me on a complete house remodel 2500 sq ft.- I am so very, very happy with his work. I couldn't have picked a better contractor. He was GREAT! My sister told me about him as he had done work on a neighbor's house, twice (a good sign that they wanted him back). She told me he was "he was on-time and on-budget, his price was his price and there wasn't surprise change orders and he was neat and tidy, and in- and out- of there fast so he didn't bother the neighbors" and he completely lived up to his reputation. We completely gutted the kitchen to the studs, reconfigured and rebuilt it, along with 3 bathrooms, installed hardwood floors thorough out the house, painted, etc. He did an incredible job in very short turnaround time (2 mos), he managed all the subs and made sure they did a good job and if something wasn't quite right, he went the extra mile to make sure it was right and a high quality job.. Even was on the job site every day, closely monitoring the progress and always kept me informed. He was very patient with my obsessive "green" requirements and was willing to coordinate with some of the subs I picked. I can't say enough good things about him and his company. I always felt I was in very good hands and didn't have to worry about the job turning into a nightmare...I had complete confidence in him and everything turned out great. To sum it up...he was fairly priced, on-time and on budget. He's known for setting a price and that's the price. No surprise change orders. And, his office staff is very professional, helpful and on-top of things. I spent about $118k + materials.
