Our company was founded in 1988, although the background and experience of our management, staff and employees spans a greater part of the last quarter century. We had one purpose and goal in mind – repairing and maintaining appliances and fulfilling this growing need. Industry statistics show that the career of Appliance Repairman is an in-demand position, requiring aptitude, education, and skills that are very specialized. Unfortunately, appliances do break, needing various parts and equipment to bring them back to working condition. Each year, countless dollars are spent on new appliances, when it is much more cost-effective to pay a service technician a much lower amount to troubleshoot and replace that worn out part.We are proud of our continuous relationships with over 90,000 (and growing) households. This is a follow-up review to my previous where I gave the company an F rating. The company followed up and immediately sent out a technician to reassess the issue. The technician was able to find the issue and fix it to my satisfaction. In addition, the stove was also repaired to my satisfaction. I must say in fairness that this was the first time I have had an issue with this company. In the past they were always prompt, professional and fairly priced. Thus, based on my previous experiences and the fact they did rectify the most recent situation am giving them an A.

Had such an impressive experience with this company that I felt compelled to write a review.  I sent an urgent request for service for my non-working refrigerator at 10pm last night.  I received a phone call at 8am this morning from the owner, Gary, who was in my area and could be onsite by 9:30am.  Gary arrived on-time, and after 15 minutes, I had a diagnosis and an estimate.  By 10:30am my Sub Zero fridge was working again.  I wish every company had this firm's commitment to fast, diligent, and customer-focused experience.  Gary even discounted the charge he had estimated because he was able to get it done faster than he expected.  Seriously?  Highly recommend!!

Mark was professional , easy to deal with and knowledgable.  He came the same day as our call, returned the next day with parts and got the job done that day even though it took longer than expected.  The cost was high and it was impossible to comparison shop becasue each component of the job was quoted as a combined part and installation cost.  Nonetheless, the ultimate cost came in somehwat under the estimate.

The service appointment was made with Mark, the owner
Mark did the work himself, he was very professional , polite and punctual.   The repairs were made.  
For a few days, thereafter, a slow leak continued, so I called Mark.    Without hesitation, Mark came back a second time and
solved the problem .  
There was no haggling or discussion required regarding the second service call .  Mark guaranteed ALL parts and labor, lived up to his guarantee. !!
  
I recommend this company to anyone having problems with Sub Zero or Wolf appliances..

They came out and diagnosed the problem and then ordered parts for $338.50.  When the parts arrived, they returned with the parts but were confused about how to install them and left without performing the work..  Follow-up phone calls over the next several months resulted in (1) a drunk person answering the phone (2) scheduling the appointment only to have repairman be a no-show  - TWICE (on November 7th and November 13th)  and (3) a phone conversation where they told me that the range would need to be pulled out from the wall and I needed to contract with another person to do that before they came to make the repairs. 
I was stuck with $350 of parts that no other installer would use because they couldn't verify the sources and it would void the warranty.
I sent All-Stars a letter on November 27, 2012, explaining the situation and asking them to either install the parts or let me return the parts.  No response was ever received.

They had to come out twice because I had a refrigerator and a refrigerator drawer under my counter that was separate.  I have sub-zero drawers that pull out that are refrigerated.  I used them for both.  They charged me $525 and $541 for the two jobs.  They were very good.  There was one specific person, Gary, who works for them who has done only sub-zero repair work.  He was very knowledgeable.  They said he was the expert at sub-zero repair.  He was fantastic.

They were very responsive, given it was during the holiday season. Their technician took the time to explain what was wrong and what needed to be done. He made two visits---one to diagnose the problem and inventory what needed to be replaced, and a second visit to remove and install new parts and perform maintenance. We were very pleased with the results.

I called All Stars from a label that was inside my fridge. The fridge had completely stopped cooling. It was a little difficult getting a hold of the owner. I had called early and left a message on Monday morning, then had to call him again around noon because I hadn't heard from anyone. When he did finally call me back, he kind of had a snide remark as if I was impatient. I'm sorry, but all my food was spoiling as we spoke. Anyway, he said someone would come by between 4-5. The repairman showed up at 6. He was the saving grace. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I have two small dogs that are attention hogs especially to anyone new. He was very gracious to them and I appreciated it. He knew right away what was wrong, even gave me a quick-fix alternative to replacing the faulty part if I chose not to get the fridge fixed. I thought that was really nice. I did get it fixed though. All in all, I'd say it was a good experience.
