I see I'm not the only one whose had an awful experience with Advanced American Laboratories. Advanced American Laboratories literally invoiced me for work they did not perform, they lied and generated a false report! I'm 100% serious. They are extremely unprofessional and tried to make us look stupid in front of our customer. Sydney was very rude on the phone, she asked "does he have a last name?" with an attitude. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company!

Totally unprofessional and overpriced. Came into our property upon the mold company's referral and went ahead and did work w/o our authorization and sent us a bill. Don't return phone calls or emails to discuss. Lied about giving us quotes. Nothing was in writing. But when you have a mold issue, you have time limitations. And they use this against you.

This review is a serious travesty in the use of social media. Ms. [Member Name Removed] in this case threatened us with bad reviews on social media if we didn’t give her a discount. Ms. [Member Name Removed] claimed that she had other lower estimates, after the fact. I say after the fact because we did not set up the project with Ms. [Member Name Removed] but with her representative, her daughter and business partner [Member Information Removed] who was given the quote for the job and scheduled for it to be performed as well as affording entry for the work. Ms. [Member Name Removed] herself initially requested to those involved that her daughter be contacted for this as she was always super busy. While we were willing and considering giving Ms. [Member Name Removed] a discount, she received one otherwise from the primary contractor who did work for her. She received this discount in part because we spoke with the contractor to help settle the situation. With this discount she was put in a position very close to her other bids. Nevertheless, out of vengefulness to us not acceding to her threat, she put in bad reviews in various social media sites. Not because of the work we performed, mind you, but because she shopped around after the fact for the cheapest price and expected us to reduce what her authorized representative had already agreed to. After the job was completed and payment was requested, she then asserted that she did not authorize the work or agree to the price given. All of the above information is documented and not contrived. We are not a fly-by-night company and have been in business for more than 39 years. While there are cut rate novices out there, we are not one of them and do not care to compete with them. Anyone can, after the fact, search for a lower price and then threaten bad reviews but this type of business is unseemly.

Tech came wearing t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. We had to supply ziplock bags (for the samples) and a step stool to reach the ceiling. Charged us for 3 analysis, but only performed one. This company is a rip-off, pure and simple. If you use them, you'll regret it.
Description of Work: Sample and analyze acoustic materials in the ceiling of our home, specifically looking for asbestos. 3 samples from different locations required.

AAL HAS BEEN HIRED BY THE LOCAL REGULATORY AGENCIES TO PERFORM INVESTIGATIONS FOR THEM. I DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISPUTE THE STATEMENTS OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS REVIEW. UNFORTUNATELY, I CANNOT AS I WAS NOT MADE AWARE UNTIL AFTER THE FACT IN THIS REVIEW THAT THERE WERE ISSUES. MISUNDERSTANDING OR CONFUSION ON THE CUSTOMER’S PART MUST BE AT WORK HERE.
