VONAGE

       I hired Vonage as my landline phone service provider, and for approximately 2 years they gave me everything and more that they advertised. The problem Started when I cancelled service on Dec 6th 2011. I was doing my bills on Dec. 12th 2011, when I saw a charge from vonage, I immediately call them, The customer rep, reads back to me, MY intent was clear cancel the account, I again advised them that as soon as I figured everything out I would be rehiring them as my landline povider. Late January comes again I am doing my bills an I see another charge from Vonage, I call them an they inform me that I went on some pay as you go plan, I respond NO I did not an they say yes I did. I direct them to Dec. 6th an I find out they have now changed or altered the written record to reflect that I hired them for some pay as you go plan,  I am expecting them to send me to collections as I will not pay them I have involved my credit card company,She heard enough that she reimbursed my credit card and made me cancel my card.  The problem is I AM NOT SURE if this is over now. I fully expect them to send me to collections and I will fight them their as well.     I wrote this because I wanted everyone to know what to expect if and when they cancel their service.   They will cheat you!!!!! 

You can keep your number no matter where you go. They are pretty reliable.
