"I am truly sorry that the customer feels as she does regarding our service. We originally gave her an estimate for $2,600.00 to complete her move. She did not want to pay that much and asked that we just do what we can get done for $1500.00, which we agreed to do. When the men came out to do the work, the customer was not ready to go, and had not got done what she needed and agreed to do in order to keep the cost down. She changed her mind at that time and ask that we go ahead and do what was needed to get the job done, understanding that the move would cost more. As we were only prepared to do $1,500 worth of work, the move did go into the evening. When the move was completed an invoice was presented to the customer for $2,340.00. She paid the bill. Later during the week, she called and said she should not have had to pay that much, although she knew the hourly rate, and did change her mind and want more services as the move was taking place. I asked her what she thought would be a fair amount. She asked for $500.00 off of the move. Simply as a gesture of good will, and an attempt to satisfy her, I agreed, and we reimbursed her $500.00. In addition, the customer moved into a smaller place than what she had moved out of, and there simply was not enough room to place everything. Again, I am sincerely sorry that we were not able to satisfy this customer."
