It was good. They have quite a variety of products and prices are reasonable. I absolutely hate the self check out and half of the time there are no codes on it and you need to call.

We were shopping for a replacement for our 20+ year old water heater. Other than not finding anyone initially in the water heater department to help, the person that did ultimately help was excellent and explained everything in detail. The process from ordering to installation went smoothly and very quickly. Even though we didn't "need" it for the water heater to be installed right away, they were here within 2 hours of placing the order. The only negative I have to say is that it's been almost 3 weeks since the installation and we've yet to receive the paperwork (detailed sales receipt and permits) so that we can register the item and extended warranty and have the installation inspected by the city. We priced the work to be done at Lowe's and it would have cost another $200 for the installation.

Installed when promised. Installation well done.

The price was reasonable. We liked them. One person came and did the whole thing. We liked the person who did all the work. It was done in a timely manner. The work was subcontracted to another company.

This store has the worst customer service in Stockton. I won't go to this store anymore, even though it's five minutes from my house. Instead, I drive about 20 minutes away to the Lowe's on Eight Mile Road. I've never had a good experience at any Home Depot, especially this one. I'm not knowledgeable about home improvement stuff, but try to do some things on my own. Whenever I went in there with a question, I was treated like an idiot. And that's only when I could find somebody to help me at all. I'd usually wait about 15 minutes of being ignored before I'd go hunt somebody down, only to be treated like an idiot. The people who work at this store are rude and unpleasant. I complained to the corporate office, then went into the store a few months later to see if it had any effect. The staff was still rude and ignorant. Do not shop at this store if you are not some home improvement geek who doesn't need help with anything, because if you have even the most simple question, you'll be made to feel like an idiot. That's if you can get any service at all.

THE JOB TOOK SIX MONTHS TO COMPLETE. THAT WAS LONGER THAN I EXPECTED. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. THE DRAWER AND THE DOOR DIDN'T FIT RIGHT. THEY WOULDN'T REORDER THE CORRECT PARTS. THEY WEREN'T TRUSTWORTHY.
