The price was not what we agreed to. I had my own lights and cables and everything, but they didn't really give us anything extra. It was just ok.

"I'm truly sorry that [removed member name] is not happy with the Christmas Light Guys, but we have never installed lights for her. I have no one named Helen Parrino or anyone from the address she listed in our data base. The Christmas light guys also do not do services in New Hall. I beleive this is a case of mistaken identity or once again another person using our name."

There was some misunderstanding about what time the workers were arriving on site ( I had understood they would 'start' at 8am, but that meant they were loading the truck to arrive at 9am). The work was done in the estimated 2 hours. They identified which of our old light strings were non-working, asked if we wanted them disposed of, and the yard was left clean. We have used this company for several years. It is a treat to have our lights up early and even on the second story. It really sets the holiday mood. They also come after the holidays to remove the lights and roll them up in our bins to store for the following year. No staples or glue is used so there is no damage to the house.

The people are pleasant and personable - at times not the most responsive - but friendly. I think they are best at very basic handy work. I requested Christmas lights be installed in front and back yard with timers. As they were very pleasant I paid them - though when I checked the work we had wires and cables all over our yard and it was dangerous. I called them back it took them multiple times to correct their mistakes - they also caused electrical problems in our home and I needed to hire an electrician to fix He told him how unsafe the work was. Bottom line they are not electricians, they do not know anything about safety and they should just do simple handy work.
We have had Christmas lights installed by another company for years and the work was a little less expensive than these people and more importantly the work was always safe and working first time. The other company is no longer in business so I saw your TV ad and joined Angie's list to find a company to install our lights but they were so incompetent i quit Angie's list.

"We installed lighting for this client early in the season in the front and back of the house. There were a few problems with timers being set wrong at first, which we resolved right away. Then the client had her whole entire front yard re-landscaped which we were never made aware of at the time of our bid. We were out there once a week fixing lights and re-running extention chords as a result of the landscapers. At the end of the season we sent an additional invoice for two service calls, hoping to cover some of our repair cost. The client was furious about this and refused to pay and never did pay for the extra work. From the beginning of October when the lights were installed to the middle of January when the front lights were removed there was no talk of any work being done wrong or dangerously."

A few minor problems and a couple of weeks into it we had to have them come back and replace a few bulbs. They were very prompt at doing that and also accommodation our poor power availability in the back yard. They were very professional throughout the whole process. They know what they are doing.

The crew was prompt, neat, and professional. They have been doing our lights for the past 3 yrs and have always responded if some lights went out that we couldn't reach and replaced.
