David was very patient and professional.  He took time to explain the problem to my tenant and to myself.  In the past, I had been told by other companies that I needed to get a new unit (cheapest quote was $6000).  Other companies even went so far as to say they couldn't refill my unit more than 2 times! The freon laws apply to commercial size units not residential! They made my tenant scared to do anything.  David thoroughly explained the problem and how he could fix it.  He taught my tenant how to read the gauge they use to replace the freon so that she would know in the future if someone was trying to rip us off.  He was great and honest. What a relief! 

David is always punctual and neat about his work.  He inspected and tested furnace, switch, and air conditioning.  Furnace functioned normally.  He discovered and repaired a broken wire at the thermostat which prevented the air conditioning system from initially turning on.  All systems now function flawlessly.  Highly recommend Alta Vista for professional, prompt, reliable, trustworthy services and competitive prices.  

Excellent customer service. Contacted Alta Vista's owner the morning after gas furnace quit working with 20 degree temps outside. He tried to troubleshoot issue during phone discussion to provide temporary instruction for heat until he could arrive at home. Came within a short period of time and diagnosis was a gas igniter needed replaced. Within 12 hours of heat loss problem was taken care of because of the expertise and professionalism of Alta Vista's owner. He is a knowledgeable, considerate professional.
