SPRING VALLEY INSULATION

Contacted company to get quote to remove rat infested insulation from my attic. I am preparing to replace my approximate 30 year old gas furnace and needed to have the rat infested insulation removed. (As well as remediate any rodent infestation and prevent further infestation. Please see my other review under Pest Control.).
After a bit of phone tag the estimator Valeska was very prompt to come out to my home and assess the situation. (It seemed as if all the insulation companies were rather busy and it took awhile to finally get a hold of them all, so I don't hold it against any of them.) She was very professional and knowledgeable about energy efficiency etc. I not only got an estimate for the attic insulation removal, but a bid to install new insulation (both blow in and bat) as well as insulating the exterior walls of the house.
I didn't use Spring Valley Insulation because they were much more expensive then the other bids I received. However, due to their professionalism and knowledge I would consider them for future work.

So I had a rat/mouse (don't know which specifically one I had) infestation in my attic. I needed everything in my attic to be cleaned up and hauled away, sanitized, and new blown insulation put in. A nice gentleman came to my house and was very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. The only reason I did not go with this company is that they didn't sanitize the area. Rats leave feces and urine, and other companies I called do sanitize. I would have gone Spring Valley Insulation because they were very professional, honest and gave a fair price. Also, I really wanted to support a local business. In the future I would do business with this company.

They were really knowledgeable. It was like they were almost invisible. They came in and did their work very professionally and quickly. They moved some furniture around and a little later, everything was back just the way it was before. They had to put in some holes for the insulation and I could not even tell where the holes were. They were very respectful of my home. I had received multiple bids and they seemed to be of good value.

THIS COMPANY WAS ON-TIME AND WORKED QUICKLY. THE WORKERS MISSED AN AREA WITH INSULATION, BUT ONCE WE CONTACTED THEM, THE COMPANY WAS BACK TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM WITHIN 24 HOURS.
