Mark Brooks

Description of Work: Mark is extremely nice and listens carefully to what you want -- along with providing excellent professional advice. He worked with a tile installer -- whom we contracted and paid independently -- to totally update two bathrooms and a small family room kitchen with a huge bi-level island for the lower level of our home. Cabinets were assembled and installed with crown moulding, toe kick and scribe. The huge island was assembled, installed, and custom fitted with electrical outlets and interior lights for the side glass doors. Existing plumbing was retrofitted with faucets and sink. Installation of all new appliances. A pony wall was reconstructed to new specifications. Since we kept the basic blueprint of the space, the flooring which was removed had to be modified and reinstalled. He retrofitted the new plumbing and sinks in two bathrooms and installed the new accessories, as well as repairing the plumbing in a third bathroom which had never been done properly by other plumbers before him. The best part, and a very accommodating point, is that Mark will do smaller jobs at $30/hr. The finished product is always perfect because Mark is a perfectionist. Even when the occasion arose to fudge it, and I said ("oh, it's all right to cut some corners") he would have none of it; it had to be done the right way!
