JD Spratley Roofing Co

My roof has been leaking for about a year and I finally I called 3 different vendors for an estimate. JD was the first to come by and check out the situation. He identified the problem and offered his solution in a little less than 10 minutes. He told me it would cost $600 and that he could get to it the first of the following week. The other vendor who came by estimated about the same amount of money, but JD called me the next day and said he could start the following day! He came and began the work slightly earlier than he said he would be there, and completed the job in a little over an hour. They thoroughly scrubbed the old material back, trimmed back a row of shingles from the house, and inserted the new roofing material underneath. After getting everything bonded back down JD clearly explained how he saw evidence of the problem and that this was surely the right solution. Very friendly and right on budget. He said he couldn't warrant the work because of the type of repair but he said if I had any problems I could call him and he "wouldn't leave me hanging". I hope I never need to call him on that!
