All work was done on time in accordance to our specifications and to our satisfaction. The job took several days, but was close to the original estimate.

Would we hire them again? Yes, we already have. This was the second time in four months that we hired this company. The first time was repair of water damage in our atrium, which was one of those jobs that escalated once the wall and some of the eaves were removed. The extension of the job was fully justified by the increased scope, and the price for the additional work was extremely reasonable.

Scott Prather is a licensed general contractor who performed nearly all of the above work himself.  He has provided general contracting services for me since 2007.  He is highly skilled and personally capable of performing the full range of small-scale demolition, plumbing, electrical, drywall, rough and finished carpentry and painting that most residential improvement projects require.   This combination of skills makes him unusually well-suited to perform bathroom and kitchen remodels, and complex repair and restoration projects.  I have worked almost exclusively with Scott on many such projects, because he is easy to work with, and does excellent work.  He has an good eye for color and design.  On projects of this kind, there are almost always hidden conditions and unexpected problems that surface once you get started.  Scott has always been able to handle whatever conditions surfaced, because of his skill and extensive experience, and because he is suitably equipped with a commercial van that can transport new materials, demolition debris and his extensive collection of tools.

Scott was referred to me by another handyman.  I was happy to see he was an Angie's List provider because I have excellent experiences with Angie's List providers and know I can trust the providers to be professional and excellent at their craft.  Scott can do everything.  If you are looking for an all around handyman, someone who is highly skilled and willing to tackle small and big projects, Scott is your man.  He is a true professional and always wants to do what is in the best interest of his clients.  Thank you for your great work.  I highly recommend Scott.  He certainly transformed my home!
