While spending over three hours at the site, Cathy got up on ladders, down on her knees and gave the house a very thorough inspection(pulling up carpet, tearing out old floorboards, etc) to assess the true extent of the problem. The next day, she emailed me an 8-page report about her findings(which weren't good). This is probably the best $350 bucks we spent, as we would never have known what was growing behind our walls without GLM's help. Thank you Cathy!

George Miller called me back on the day I first called him and we made an appointment for testing the next morning. He was on time to the minute (I know that at first that might not sound like a big deal but it s surprising how refreshing it is not to have time windows that are many hours long and missed anyway.) As mentioned above, he tested for mold in the kitchen and living room and for comparison purposes he tested in the front yard. After analyzing the results in his lab, he called to report them. The mold readings were too high. He then talked directly to the mold remediators about the results and their subsequent plan of action. When we were ready for the second testing he came out and did it again--except he cut the rates in half this time (and after we had already agreed to the full rates.) Over the course of two separate testing visits, George Miller spent more than two hours answering my questions and patiently explaining various aspects of mold and mold remediation (the subject becomes much more interesting when one has a serious mold problem.) I should also point out that George Miller told me he gives a 5% discount for writing reports on Angie s List whether good or bad. I said I couldn t really think of anything bad. In retrospect, maybe the only thing bad is that mold testing, in general, seems fairly expensive.

George did an absolutely wonderful job not only testing for potential mold, but also explaining the process. He also went into detail about health effects of the different types of mold, types of mold themselves and ways to reduce the chance of mold. He also provided a comprehensive report to me and the tenants detailing his findings.

He called to let me know he would be ten minutes late. He went through a thorough explanation of what he was going to do. He was very informative. He helped me in making a decision to whether or not to have the remediation done. He informed us of different types of mold. He had made a hole to do the test and he taped up the hole. He sent us a very thorough written report of what was found.
