They quoted us about $160,000.00, $160 thousand dollars for some bathroom disability work that we wanted to get done for our united states marines corp amputated disabled veteran son and we thought maybe that was really the cost until we called a licensed contractor and he was willing to do the same job for $12 thousand dollars. we will never call this guy again, he is a rip off who drives from hayward trailer park, here in the east bay, alameda county, 15 minutes even with traffic to western street here in hayward, our house, he charged us $6.00 per mile regarding mileage. The owner has some kind of personality problem when communicating with the owner and manager of a big project. A person who has a large job to provide would be a busy person who has other projects to manage. A contractor for a substantial job needs to be independent and capable of handling large jobs, and managing substantial jobs. This contractor is difficult to communicate with, and would only answer calls after he wakes up after 5 pm, always yelling that he cannot just jump into his brand new tesla or luxury mercedes benz from hayward trailer park just to give any non white family fire victim a free estimate. We asked the owner, nordeman, to clean our heating vents which he did not because he said he could not move his knees and that he is too high level with his brand new engineering license from california state contractor license board. While he was here he said we needed our furnace cleaned badly so we asked if he was able to do it and he said yes. After he finished, he told us he had to put duct tape on the flue because it was not installed properly (You should never put duct tape on a furnace! It will MELT and could cause a fire! He should have used foil tape.) A few minutes later, he told us the furnace was not working and he should not have cleaned it because it is very old. (He should have told us he was nervous to mess with it because of its age). He sat there staring at it, not knowing how to fix it and threatened us in front of our grandchildren. Nordeman threatened that we better pay for installation and we better buy a brand new one. (New ones are thousands of dollars and ours was working just fine before he touched it!) He said he would come back the next day to see what he could do. After we slept on it we called him back and told him not to come. Luckily he did not come back after all his DANGEROUS mess ups. We had to suffer the cold weather for the next few days. Luckily the new HVAC repairman was able to fix it in 5 minutes. All it needed was a new limit switch. We saved thousands of dollars. Do NOT trust NORDEMAN with your HVAC. He does NOT know what he is and was doing and should have professionally, NON VIOLENTLY, politely said he was out of his element. This company rips victims off as they are not professional at all. they scam people and over charge! We already made a police report on them. They take your money without showing up to do the job right. They were on our roof after the fire, under the influence of drugs and beer from seven amigos markets, DANGEROUSLY with our brand new power tools, they brought Spanish speaking high school girls into our house, into our guest bedroom. When you call as new fire victims, nordeman answers from a hayward trailer park, not office, when you mail insurance evidence to him, he picks it up from a post office box rental at hayward post office! When you park outside his office on his website, a girl in nurse costume lingerie answers the door as a non surgery chiropractic doctor’s office across tanforan strip mall and south san francisco homeless shelter!! They give you fake invoices! Scam! Definitely do not recommend Nordeman at all! Leonard Len Albert NORDEMAN scheduled a time to come measure the window and flaked. The next week he said he came and got no answer. So he left a nasty message saying he is going to charge us a fee for driving out here (to our son’s house in Oakland- he is in Hayward). We had our phone in the other room, so we called him back about an hour later. He was a total jerk about it. Unprofessional. Bad service. Find somebody respectful, not yelling, calling us the Ngr N word. Leaving a one star since we cannot leave zero. we set up an appointment with these guys for 10 am-11 am, confirmed days ago, they called us again this morning to confirm once more and when we did confirm they tell us there is no guarantee that they can get someone out there by 11 am because Nordeman does not wake up until after 12 pm noon, driving all the way from hayward trailer park. My wife had taken time off work to meet with him and waited at the property for nobody to show up. When Nordeman called us around 11 am, he told us "my sales meeting before you is going well, big money job, so do not know what time i will be able to get to you." This is completely unprofessional, what does "my sales meeting before you is going well" even mean or have to do with our already scheduled appointment? This is NOT a dating game show. Nordeman’s girl Friday who answered the phone was totally useless and unable to give us any helpful information. nordeman did not do a safe or nice job with our roof after the fire. They completed the roof in about 7 days and a half. We were approved for the insurance pretty quickly as well. Nordeman told us the roof was $60,000.00 with no interest for a non wood shake roof. The finance company said otherwise, they wanted 12%. we also had asbestos and mold in our bedrooms and bathroom, we told nordeman and was charged $1,040.00 for a 5 minute mold test (just for them to look at it). We thought they were going to come in and spray some stuff on the wall to get rid of the mold and asbestos abatement for $1,040.00. the $1,040.00 was separate and nonrefundable, he told us that was for city fees and permit fees, nordeman LIED, we called the city permit office and county CAL OSHA inspector. nordeman just took our money. Then they have the nerve to keep calling asking us how the service was. we might feel a little better if they send us $1,040.00 back but we are going to leave it in God's hands.

They did an excellent job. They were very quick in responding to my requests. They completed the analysis and then it worked quickly, completely, and in a timely fashion that was consistent with their predictions. The job was completed in 2012 and I have not had any troubles since.

After years of living with drafty aluminum windows, we finally decided to replace all windows and doors in our home.  I am a stay at home mom, so I had the time to search and shop around for the best value that we could get for our hard-earned money.
I had 4 or 5 different window dealers come to our home to give us options and estimates for our window project.  It was a learning experience that we will never forget!  We met with so many gimmicks, pressure and even, unprofessional behavior.
A neighbor referred A-1 Quality Windows & Doors.  I spoke with Eloa, the Sales Manager, and she we were able to make an appointment for the following day.  Eloa arrived at our home on time and spent over 1 1/2 hours with us, listening to our needs, answering all of our questions and more importantly, she educated us about all of our options, which allowed us to make a decision without pressure or games. 
From the first meeting to the final day of installation, the employees from A-1 Quality Windows were awesome! Their installers were careful, neat and experienced; it seemed as if my home was cleaner than before they started their work!  The windows and sliding patio doors made such a huge difference; they look GREAT and make our home more energy efficient!  After they completed the installation, Eloa, came back to our home to do a final inspection with us.  She wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the final product.  And of course, we were and still are!
I did not mention the cost yet, because we are so impressed with the work they did and the treatment we received, the fact that their prices are incredibly competitive is just the icing on the cake.  The truth is that we would have paid twice as much as we did based on the quality of work they provided us!  This is a top notch company and I highly recommend their services and products without hesitation.

These guys are outstanding like unbelievable off the charts. They're attentive to details and phenomenal. Their workmanship is terrific. I leave a message on their cellphone I get a callback before I finish leaving the message.

The Job was done excellent

Very well , the crews are always on time, and they arrived clean and in company shirts .They also cleaned up after themselves during the day as well as at the end of the day . The cabinets were installed using a laser so everything is right on the button . The Painting was done with great care .

In my Opinion this is the company i can trust because the job was well done .

It went well . i am happy with the customer service and  work they did .
