MASTER MOVERS

We were quoted a price for 4 hours of work. We made sure everything was ready and it only took 2 hours. I was then charged for additional hours (beyond the 4 hours) and when I contacted the business Conrad said that we were paying from the time they left their business in SF until they returned. I expressed that this was never divulged to me when I hired them and he agreed that he would refund the difference of $324.68. It never happened and when I finally reached him after many (4-5) unreturned calls, he said he never agreed to it. I've filed a complaint with the BBB since this business should not be getting customers with these kinds of practices. The men that came and moved the furniture were on time and did a good job-no complaints there! We paid a total of $1,104.68 for this move (it took 2 hours and one truck)

Master Movers are fantastic.  I've moved many times and thought I had some good movers in the past but Master Movers were the best by far.  They were recommended to me by a friend who hired them to move his elderly mother.  My friend was very happy with the job they did for his mother and I was extremely happy with the job they did for me.
To begin with, the owner of the company said that with a move the size of mine (4 bedroom house) he likes to come over prior to move day to assess the amount of items, etc so that they will be prepared with the right size vehicles and number of movers.  On moving day the movers arrived right on time, were professional, personable and courteous.  They worked fast, and at the same time were very careful with my things.  Something that stood out about them was how well the 4 men worked together as a team.
Upon arrival at my new home, which has a very steep driveway, it turned out that there was an overhang from the house which jutted out over the driveway and their truck did not fit under.  These guys did not miss a beat and to their credit did not complain or groan or anything.  They simply set about carrying everything themselves from the truck which was parked down on the street, up the steep driveway to my house (my house is on a hill).  They worked really really hard and for a long time as I have a lot of stuff.  Despite the schlepping, they maintained their good attitudes throughout the long day.  Poor guys even carried my upright piano up that driveway!  And anytime I stopped one of them to ask for something - such as to put a piece of furniture into a different spot because I had changed my mind or hadn't made up my mind where it would go when they first brought it in - whomever I asked would immediately stop what they were doing, do the thing I asked and then got right back on task unloading and carrying things up from the truck.
I would recommend Master Movers to anyone who is looking for professional and competent movers.

Super professional, punctual and dependable.  Much less expensive than national movers.
