Giorgi Bros

We had a short lead time before we were expecting a guest to sleep on the new furniture. Our sales person was confident that they would be able to make the arrangements to meet our time restriction. We asked her to follow-up and give us an approximate date of delivery, which she failed to follow through with. We called them a day later and were told that our order had not even been entered yet. Given the tight turnaround we were concerned. We again asked for someone to follow-up and give us the approximate delivery date and again there was no follow-up. On my third follow-up I connected with someone who was able to give me a status of our order, and she kept me updated throughout the rest of the experience. The furniture was ultimately delivered more than one week ahead of our deadline. The delivery men assembled the bed frame for us and were quick and courteous. So, all in all, the transaction had a rough start, but the end result was good. My only caution for anyone intending to use them is that you need to be prepared to do your own follow-up. The level of service on the part of the sales personnel was a little wanting.

I wanted a set of tall book cases for my home office, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I went to 3 consigment shops and was disappointed to find the price to be $1000 per book case. I went to Giorgi Bros, and found that I could get new, solid wood book cases for $600 a piece. I was able to choose the trim, color, and details without any additional cost. I like that I can customize the piece, and I wanted it to match the desk I had purchased there a few years before. The sales person who helped me was very knowledgeable and walked me through the choices. We could see examples on the floor and not just from catalogs. That's really helpful because I just can't understand the detail from a picture or drawing in a catalog. I also like that they aren't on commission, so the sales people help each other, and take the time to go through the options,- they aren't rushing from customer to customer. The sales person who had helped me with the desk was able to look up the order, and find the stain number since the manufacturer no longer offered as a standard option, but would do it upon request. The book cases came when they said they would. They were built correctly, and had been customized as specified. The delivery people were very careful to avoid damage to the walls or the hard wood floors. They set them up quickly and efficiently. I have been to Giorgi Brothers a few times. The service has always been great, and the products are very high quality at a reasonable price.

On Jan 13th, we went to Giorgi Bros. and purchased a sectional & ottoman recommended by their salesperson and we were told that it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. We were very happy when they scheduled delivery for Feb. 14th. I paid them the balance due and they delivered the sectional, but no ottoman. I asked the where my ottoman was and they told me that it would be delivered separately. After 2 weeks, I called Giorgi Bros to find out where my ottoman was. It took several days and several phone calls to find out that the manufacture "missed" the ottoman. Giorgi Bros. did not notice that the manufacture had "missed" it until I complained. I was told that they would re-order & I should receive it soon. Two weeks ago I was told that I would receive my ottoman last week. As of April 30, they still can not tell me when I will receive my ottoman. All they can tell me is they have been invoiced, so it must be on its way to their warehouse. I am VERY disappointed!
