They're good, very responsive and very knowledgeable. Their professionalism and clean up is all very good.

They have a French style. We decided to do one big window instead of the grid with 4 windows. They brought in a one piece window because we had problems with leakage which is standard in this type of house. I visited their showroom.

They did a pretty good job and we only had a couple of problems. One was that they did not tell us what the company was of the doors and windows that we were going to put in. The other was that the front door has not a really good luck so it was kind of hard to operate. Other than that, everything was great.

I received an initial bid from the salesman that was low for painting the house and repairing the trellis and I signed an agreement' but when an official came to look at the trellis the price was raised almost $800. and I cancelled the contract. The communications during this time were poor. UPDATE 6/5/2013 I am told that these sorts of negotiations and change in prices go on all the time so perhaps this should not be taken as a criticism.

We own a 1960's mid-century modern Eichler home in Foster City. Walls in our home are huge floor to ceiling glass picture windows. There are also two sets of large 6' x 8' sliding patio doors. We originally had Eichler Solutions give us a bid to replace all the glass back in Sept of 2009 but took a pass as we decided to remodel other parts of the house. In May of 2011 we asked them to come out and requote the same job. Rodney, the salesperson, came out and presented us with various options. After an hour or so of negotiations we went with frameless and tinted dual-paned glass and heavy aluminum-framed, dual-paned, tinted low e glass sliding patio doors. This choice was the more expensive option over simple vinyl framed windows and doors, but we wanted to preserve the original modern look of the house. At this point I want to point out that Rodney, the sales associate, was very knowledgeable and did present us with the many options available. We liked him but afterward felt like we had just gone through something akin to buying a new car. We signed the contract on May 19th with a stated install date of June 15th. A few days prior to the install date we called and were informed that the sliding aluminum doors were being custom-made and that the entire project would be delayed. We recieved a call a few days later and set a new install date of July 6th. On July 6th the full crew showed up on time and for the next three days demoed and installed all of our larger windows. And this is where Eichler Solutions shines: Vladimir and his crew are true craftsmen. They really know their stuff. Being in Foster City our house is no where near level and this presented the crew with serious challenges. They handled these chellenges like the pros they are and the finished job is just incredible. They showed up on time every day and left the job site cleaned up at night. And this is important--they painted all the wood frame and trim, as none of the other window companies we got quotes from included painting any of the wood framing or trim. From the name you would think that Eichler Solutions just works on Mid-Century Modern homes, but that is not the case. We are super pleased with the job Eichler Solutions did. Our neigbors agree, and in fact just last night Vladimir and his crew finshed up a window replacement project for the family across the street from us. The project cost $12,000, but money well spent. And just an fyi...this same job was quoted by another well-known Bay Area window company but quoted almost $8,000 more.

They were very efficient. They came in within a week or two. They left their area clean everyday. They delivered the product and service as promised by what we signed up for. Windows are expensive, and I did get several quotes, but they were the lowest.
