They were very, very slow. They set back the delivery date over and over again. Phone calls were not returned. Quality was good but we had to wait months to get this small project completed.  This one cabinet was far too expensive and their work did not include the finish.

He is fabulous. He is expensive but worth every penny. What stood about them was his knowledge, his service and the quality of his work. Everything that he did was outstanding. He is reliable and knowledgeable and his work is impeccable. He is a cabinet maker too and knows what he is talking about. Everything that we had done here has held up nicely. I will be using him again in the near future.

Overall a great experience. I hated the windows I had and really dragged my heals on this project because I was afraid it wouldn't be done well. Larry was very insightful and accommodating. The windows look fantastic and are a 500% improvement over what I had before. My house was built in 1928, so we did what we could to maintain it's historical integrity . The bidding process went smoothly and Larry helped us stay within our budget. The installation went reasonably smoothly. We did sash replacements that are supposed to tilt out (for cleaning, etc.) and they don't come out as smoothly as I expected. The only other thing I thought was odd was that Larry never came by to check the work once the project was complete. But, having said that, if I needed a window tomorrow, I would absolutely call Mission Millworks to replace it.

They replaced metal sliding windows with historically accurate wooden windows. They were not very clear about our understanding of the estimate they gave us. In the end we paid more than we thought we would. They did a very good, excellent quality job.

Larry was quick to understand what we wanted and came up with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations, he obviously takes pride in the job. The quality of the windows he suggested is fantastic and the style is exactly what we were looking for. His team did an exceptional job in demolishing the old and installing the new windows and did it quickly with consideration for our living space (and kids). He also had a good recommendation for a specialized painter. The windows and workmanship is priced at the high end of the bids we got but is clearly worth it for anyone who wants quality and friendly service.

Mission Millworks does excellent work. They are reasonably priced and reasonably on-time. Their craftsmen are highly skilled and very professional. My only criticism is about their office communication. We ordered a window screen after the window they made was installed. The order has taken nearly 4 months. They finally called and apologized, because someone had forgotten to place the order. Their front desk help is friendly and courteous but, at times, they seem to be harried and not very efficient.

Larry Lee, the owner is very knowledgeable and offered helpful suggestions and referrals. However, it was frustrating to wait so long for the doors to be installed. We contacted Larry in early February and the door was installed in mid May. Ordering the doors took almost 2 months. No one called when the doors were in and I called to find out that they arrived for a week already. Then we had to wait for the carpenter to be available. The job took longer than anticipated once it got started. However, the carpenter (Peter) was excellent and paid attention to detail. He did not rush but took his time to do his job right. His workmanship was superb and he was very professional in his conduct. The cost of the job was expensive. The cost did not include the the hardware($400)and the installation of the hardware(about $400). Also the door had to be weathered proofed and painted which are not included. The smaller jobs such as fixing a door that did not close properly was paid by the hour.
