This home has a standard wood burning fireplace. We purchased this property about 5 years ago and have been improving it each year. Fireplace was one of our items this year. Earlier in Spring we refaced the interior with natural stone and new mantel. We could see signs of exterior cinder blocks in need of repair and knew it likely needed a chimney sweep too. In seeking chimney sweep services we first ran across Ryan's company via Yelp - with nice reviews - so we scheduled him. Ryan was timely and came prepared. He gave us a full written inspection and cleaned it. He indicated it didn't really need a full cleaning but we opted for it just for peace of mind and to keep it as clean as possible. Throughout the inspection he pointed out all the areas in need of repair and what he could do to for correcting each item. All was fully expected. In one week, we have him scheduled for completing the repairs and installing a spark arrestor cap.
Description of Work
Full inspection of exterior & interior fireplace/chimney structure, and cleaned chimney. Took about 1.5 hours.
