Chimney Sweeping
From the start, I was not impressed with this person that I spoke with on the phone. I had mentioned that I might have a dead animal stuck in my chimney because there was a strong "skunk-like" smell coming from there, which subsided when the damper was closed. We made an appointment for a Wednesday. He called on Thursday to tell me he had forgotten the appointment and to try to set up another one. "What was your problem, again?" "I think I have a dead animal in my chimney." "Oh, you're the animal lady." (very unprofessional) I reluctantly set up another appointment for the following Tuesday. He then asked me to call his home phone to leave a message about this appointment because he was driving and couldn't write down the details. (Did he think I was his secretary?). After consideration of this conversation, I called his answering machine to let him know I didn't really need his services!
