Furthermore, at final building inspection on July 23,2012, the city inspectors found installation failures and ordered correction. We attempted to contact Super Cool, as did our general contractor, Specialized Contractors Inc.
Super Cool failed to return my calls and emails. General contractor reported the same experience.
We subsequently discovered that the AC system had not been fully installed and did not work. We had to pay another contractor $872 to complete uncompleted AC and heating work. We also brought in experts to test system efficiency and they found major leakage in the ductwork which, as of this date, remains uncorrected.
Finally, when the home was reinspected after the repairs, the inspector delayed final approval because of the lack of installation guides, needed to verify that the work had been completed in accord with those guides. We again got no response when we
tried to contacted Super Cool and our contractor again reported an identical experience.
