Found some termites in our living room on Sunday and called Stanley Pest Control the second they opened on Monday. Got an immediate response and Steven came over and gave us two estimates, depending on the amount of work we wanted done. The amount seemed reasonable and on Wednesday, Ruben Velasco came over and did the job. Ruben was great. I can't speak highly enough of him. He was on time, he worked fast, and he was extremely professional and knew his stuff. If I ever have to call Stanley Pest Control again, I'm definitely recommending that they send Ruben over to do the work.

Fine but could not get a consistent schedule

I would like to render a complaint before I pay my bill. Employee came to our house around the 12Jan2018 did an inspection of the house. A few days later we received the report and assumed everything was ok. My husband was home at the time and Employee did not say anything about anything. A few days after received the report come to find out that there was a few things that needs to be inspected and fixed. We did not understand after reading the report. I therefore called the office only to get a VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE saying if you read the report you would have known you should have rescheduled for re inspection, he proceeded to tell me all the home owners are like you they do not read the report they try to blame it on me. I told him I did not understand my husband was home, he could have ask him to move things so he could have re-inspected. He could have been a little bit more professional by telling my husband what needed to be done the day he was there. There was no live termites, only a few spots of dry wood which had been there since the last inspection. We could have removed the or cover the damaged wood. I felt because this was a FREE estimate for the VA for our loan he was being a bully and unprofessional because it was a free estimate. He did not show my husband any termites and did not state it needed re-inspection. I feel that $975 is very excessive for having the person come to spray and remove wood and was there for lest than 1 hour. I felt they were charging us for 2 inspections and 1 repair and spray even though the inspections were suppose to be FREE, this is how they get there money. I am a Retired Veteran and I will make a formal complaint with the state of California Structural Pest Control Board for bait and switch. In 2016 we had another company report and it also stated there was drywood and it was removed at that time also that same area was treated with the same chemicals for less than half what was charged. I did not realize I should have went to that company because I felt there would be nothing wrong within a 2 year period. I feel I should not have to pay the entire amount possibly half. I felt again a bait and switch to get the job done for my VA loan. Thank you LBC

It has gone well. There was a lapse in maintenance treatment due to employee transition, however Stanley has honored the contract. I decided to do the spot termite removal from dry rot in the patio area in July 2017. I am happy with the work. Their original estimate for board replacement after spot treatment is still in effect! I hope to take advantage and finish the job.

Some rodents were caught, some were left in traps up in attic. Technician did not return to retrieve traps. Rodents continue to get into attic. Obviously, not all entries were discovered.

One rodent trapped. After about 6 months, another rodent entry to attic was heard. We hired a different Angie's rodent proofing contractor and they found more potential entry points. Time will also tell if this new service is/was effective.

Smoothly once Stanley persons, Edwin and Richard, came on site. Sprayed outside the perimeter of the house using a $99 coupon deal and inside throughout for additional $50. I think the price was extremely reasonable. Ants have now gone elsewhere. The gentlemen were extremely polite and professional. They arrived at the appointed date and time. Went right to work and left no stone unturned. We removed the switch plate covers and they sprayed in there. Very satisfied so far. 90-day guarantee that ants will not return, but often works longer they said.

Went great! Guy was there at the time stated, reviewed the body, removed it and sprayed to prevent germs and whatever other gross things happen with dead animals. Price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but after calling 2 other services and getting NOTHING in return (not even a message), I went with them. Couldn't have been happier with the result.

We gathered a couple of quotes and we landed with Stanley. We were impressed with the owner/manager who conducted a very detailed evaluation and the approach to address the very annoying bird nests so we don't have to live with the mess the birds left behind on the cement ground. He didn't just cover the obvious spots, he also saw the potential locations could attract birds to build new nests after the current ones are blocked. The crew of 3 came to install the blocking mechanisms. They were very courteous and professional. We are very pleased with their service. Stanley Pest Control knows how to control birds and they offer 2 years warranty which give us peace of mind.
