DOOR & WINDOW PLUS

We replaced 17 windows and 2 patio sliding doors. Our windows were installed 2 weeks after we ordered them. We were surprised how quickly they received them. They showed up on the installation day at 9:00 am with a 6 man crew. Installation went well, although I felt they could of used more of the low expanding spray foam to insulate around the windows. They did miss a few spots with caulking the interior of the window trim but we didn't notice it at the time they were here and the spots were minor that I could easily handle myself. The new windows has improved how our home looks and it is so much quieter now. We would use this company again.

In February of 2011, I had secured a vendor to install new windows in my house. However, he did not sell entry doors but said he could install them. After a little research I went to Door and Window Plus to buy a new door and lockset. Jeff, the sales person was very helpful and did everything to help me make the right decisions and to assure the door would be delivered by the estimated installation date in April 2011. My mistake was allowing someone else to install the door. The window people did a very shabby job and also damaged the door while installing it. The damage was cosmetically hidden but after a couple of weeks I just had the feeling something was structurally wrong with the way it was installed. I called Door and Window Plus to ask if they could send a door installer to inspect the job. They gladly did so for a reasonable fee. The door was square and plumb but almost nothing else about the installation was right. The threshold was open to the elements, the lockset had been glued in place at the bottom after the lockset was broken and the frame was installed mostly with nails instead of screws. Very soon after the inspection Kelvin, the president of Door and Window Plus called me personally after seeing the report. He helped me consider the options of a full re-install or buying a new door since there was drill damage where the lock set was positioned. In the end I decided to go with a re-install which he offered to me for a basic flat fee that was very reasonable. The re-install done by Door and Window Plus was like night and day. I realized just how bad the first installation by the window vendor was.I would recommend Door and Window Plus because I had a very professional and customer focused experience with them.

They are nice people. They did what they said they would do. They were the best priced by far. They arrived when they said they would. This is the second time we've used them, and we will use them in the future.

Overall it went well, other than our rep not double checking our stained glass at the top of the door was available . We lost a few days having to wait on this but overall it took 4-5 weeks for the door to arrive.

I called Door and Window Plus and they sent Bryan their outside salesman to my house in Monrovia. Bryan was very nice and respected my time. He gave me his presentation that was filled with information that explained what Door and Window Plus did and what brands of windows they carried. Door and Window Plus has a great selection of windows. I believe he said over 20 brands. Bryan gave me a quote on my windows and patio doors. He gave me all the brochures, Better Business read out, company insurance information, and a list of drive by addresses of the companies work as well as 15 names and telephone numbers of past customers. Door and Window Plus's price wasn't the lowest or highest but they gave me all the material to make a decision. I never got referral names and numbers from a few of the other companies that came out to my house. Door and Window Plus by far gave me the best and most information. Bryan was great. I highly recommend Door and Window Plus to my family and friends.
