Expert Plumbing

Very impressed with Expert Plumbing and had a very positive experience with them. I felt the team went the extra mile with my project, as described below. Expert Plumbing does charge a fee for their initial estimate visit ($ amount is dependent upon one's location in Santa Cruz county, but this is explained at the time of request, so clients are aware of the fee should they wish to seek out an alternate provider. The fee is recouped and applied to the work estimate, should one opt to select Expert Plumbing to perform the work. Talal (co-owner) arrived on time the day of the estimate. Alerts are received via text message and/or email if desired that Expert Plumbing is on its way. Talal explained thoroughly the work he felt would need to be performed to make my requested upgrades. This was followed up, within a few business days, with the actual work estimate which included a detailed description of the work to be performed. The work was scheduled within a week. I found Talal, Mo and Jacob to be very attentive to detail and all possess very good customer interaction skills. In my particular case, they went the extra mile to support my project as a custom bath fixture I had supplied for the project turned out to have a fitting issue for a lavatory pedestal. This was not detailed in the product's technical specifications so we all were caught unaware until the work was in process. As a result, I was unable to use my custom supplied fixture for this project. With a holiday approaching and hosting family - I needed an alternate solution fast!. Expert Plumbing offered to call local suppliers to see if a suitable alternative fixture could be found locally, sourced a suitable option, texted me an image to approve and installed the alternative option the same day. That is an example of being responsive to the needs of the customer! I would highly recommend Expert Plumbing for your plumbing needs. They are very courteous, highly professional, skilled at customer interaction, clean up well after they perform their work, are reasonably priced and explain and document well the work to be performed. It was a very pleasant contractor experience and I have no hesitation contacting them for any plumbing needs I might have in the future.

Prompt and courteous service. Counter cracked around sink in each bathroom. Old Formica. Silicon in bathrooms and kitchen not as professionally installed as desired. Bathroom sinks were removed and reinstalled after new counters installed. Silicon cleaned up in kitchen. At reinstall of bathroom sinks was done excellently. All the silicone and reinstalls were done at no charge.

We found water sitting in the bottom of our kitchen sink cabinet from a slow leak that seemed to be coming from the bottom of our kitchen faucet. The faucet had been installed just a year prior from a contractor’s plumber. After reading such positive online reviews, I decided to call Expert Plumbing. Talal answered my call right away and made an appointment to come and diagnose the problem. He was on time and genuinely kind. He confirmed that the bolt cap on bottom of faucet had cracked and recommended replacing the faucet since that would be faster than waiting to get a new bolt cap. We agreed. He also checked our water pressure regulator and found our water pressure to be above 110 psi. He said that the water pressure regulator needed to be replaced as well and thankfully he had the one we needed in stock. After I purchased a new faucet, I called Talal, again answered my call right away, and scheduled another appointment for install the next day. He again was on time. I appreciated his accessibility, how personable and kind he was, and how he explained things in layman’s terms. I feel I can trust him and would not hesitate to call on him again.

Talal (the owner) answered my call very promptly for help regarding a problematic water heater.
This was a bit of an ordeal for me, having just bought the place and was unfortunately not given a lot of background paperwork concerning the various household appliances.
What I appreciate about Talal's service was:
---He had me check a few things first before coming out (these tasks would have saved me some money if it remedied the situation which it didn't, unfortunately);
---He also fully explained what he needed to do, providing me an itemized breakdown of the service;
--He also had to perform a bit of and quot;liteand quot; electrical work, since the other unit had no grounding wire (and making calls to consult with an electrician), warranting a trip to the local (and not close!) hardware store;
---He was above all supremely professional, courteous, and kind (which, again, I appreciated-I was pretty agitated, and he was able to calm me down).
I also got the strong sense that he's a perfectionist having observed how methodical he was, and he left my place clean.
I'm having Talal install new bathroom fixtures very soon, and will call him if any other issues arise. He's service is superb!
