Ca Bug Hounds quickly and professionally answered my phone call.
We discussed services provided (2 dogs to search for bed bugs) and possible date for inspection since they are located out of my area. - Inspection date was set and a contract for services was emailed to me for signature. Also instructions for me to get the house ready for the dogs (like removal of my pets and no use of scents 24 hours before the visit).
On inspection day, the owner was in frequent contact with me by phone so time of arrival was known in advance (you need to leave the house one hour before they arrive to decrease scents inside the house - my pets and I sat in the car till they arrived).
On arrival after initial greetings, one dog at a time was introduced into the home. They searched every room/bathroom/garage/laundry area with specific time spent in master bedroom and office where I spend the majority of my time.
After the inspection, a verbal report was given to me with a formal report emailed to me the next day. Ca. Bugs Hounds were very professional in every aspect and they are one of only a handful of companies in Ca. that are certified by the National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association.
